국문 초록

한국은행 산업분류 세분류 404부문 중 정보통신부문에 해당하는 (1)유선통신기기, (2)무선통신 및 방송기기, (3)컴퓨터 및 주변기기, (4)통신시설, (5)초고속망서비스, (5)부가통신, (7)소프트웨어 개발공급. (8)컴퓨터관련 서비스 분야를 중심으로 대기업과 중소기업의 고용창출효과를 활동ㆍ상품모형이라는 분석도구를 이용해 파악해 보고자 한다. 분석결과, 정보통신 분야별 산업활동에 대응하는 대기업의 고용승수는 컴퓨터관련서비스업 (0.0196), 소프트웨어개발공급업 (0.0185), 유선통신기기(0.0152), 통신시설업(0.0145), 컴퓨터 및 주변기기업(0.0132)등의 순으로 높계 나타났다. 그리고 정보통신 분야별 산업활동에 대응하는 중소기업의 고용승수는 통신시설업(0.0165), 컴퓨터 및 주변기기업(0.0151), 유선통신기기업(0.0143), 컴퓨터관련서비스업(0.0126)등의 순으로 높게 나타났다. 이와 같이 분석된 정보통신 분야별로 대기업과 중소기업의 고용창출효과는 현실적으로 직면해 있는 IT분야의 고용창출 문제를 해결하는데 중요한 정보로 활용될수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

This paper is aimed at assessing the employment multiplier effects of conglomerates and small-to-medium enterprises, focusing on the information and communications field, one of the 404 segmentations of the industrial classifications of the Bank of Korea. The information and communications field, includes (1) the wire communication apparatus, (2) the wireless communications and broadcasting apparatus, (3) the computer and peripheral apparatus, (4) the communications facilities, (5) the super highway network service, (6) the added value communication, (7) the development and supply of softwale, (8) the computer related service, through analysis using Activity-Commodity Model. The main results of this paper are summarized as follows (1) The employment multiplier of conglomerates accommodating industrial activities for each field of the information and communication is ranked in the order of the computer related service(O.0196), the development and supply of software(O.0186), the wire communication apparatus(O.0152), the communication facilities(O.0146), and the computer and peripheral apparatus(O.0132), (2) while that of small-to-medium enterprises is ranked in the order of the communication facilities(O.0165), the computer and peripheral apparatus(O.015]), the wire communication apoaratus(O.0143), and the computer related services(O.0126) The employment multiplier effects of conglomerates and small-to-medium enterprises, analyzed as above for each area of the information and communication industry, will be valuably utihlized as important information in resolving the issue of employment creation that currently confronts the IT industry.
