국문 초록

데이터 마이닝은 정보기술의 발달과 비즈니스의 요구에 의하여 등장하게 되었다고 할 수 있다. 전자의 경우 거의 모든 기업이 고객과 경쟁자 및 제품에 관한 데여 터를 담고 있는 데이터베이스를 정보 인프라로 인식하게 됨에 따라 대규모의 데이터베이스 구축의 필요성과 네트워크 관련 기술의 발달이, 후자의 경우 급변하는 기업환경하에서 기업의 지속적연 발전을 위하여 대량의 정보로부터 요구되는 정보를 신속하고, 정확하게 추출하는 것이 고객지향의 기업전략을 수립하는데 그 필요성이 절대적으로 요구되었기 때문이라 할 수 있다. 앞으로의 기업활동은 해당 기엽에 대한 고객만족도 평가를 통하여 그 기업의 존속이 결정될 것은 분명하기 때문에 고객만족을 통한 기업 전략이 수립되기 위해서 는 고객들의 반응을 조사하는 것과 함께, 다양한 요인들을 분류ㆍ검색하는 것이 혜 우 중요한 영역이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 기 조사된 창업기업의 애로요인 올 기존의 통계분석 방법과 최근 활발하게 도입되고 있는 데이터 마이닝에 의한 방법으로 분석하여 그 결과를 비교하고자 하는 것이다. 분석결과 애로요인의 검색 및 추적에 있어서는 데이터 마이닝에 의한 방법이 더 다양하고 보다 구체적인 요인들을 검출ㆍ분류하였으며 예측의 정확성도 더 높일 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 데이터 마이닝 방법의 적용은 보다 바람직한 분석 결과를, 다양한 요인의 추출 및 분류를 제공할 수 있게 될 것이다.

영문 초록

Data mining has been appeared as according to the development of information technologies and business requirements. Since most firms recognize a database that has data on customers, competitors, and products as necessary information infrastructure, they need implementing large scale database. Business finns should be able to retrieve relevant information accurately and quickly from a large database to establish customer oriented business strategies under competitive business environments. Since it is obvious that the existence of business firms will be determined by evaluation results of customer satisfaction in the near future, survey of customer responses and searching for various factors effecting customer satisfaction are very critical for business firms to establish business strategy. In this research we compare data mining methodologies with typical statical methods in investigating relations between the difficulties experienced in the early stage of businesses and factors effecting the difficulties. Experimental results show that the data mining provides more various methods than the statistical method does in searching and tracking factors effecting the difficulties, and is better than the statistical method in prediction accuracy. Therefore, data mining is expected to provides more desirable analytical results, is better in searching for factors.
