국문 초록

미술 비평하면 서양에만 있고 우리 전통 미술문화에서는 없는 것으로 사람들이 알지만 조선시대에는 미술 감상과 비평이 매우 활발하였다. 미술비평활동은 고려 중·후기에 북송과의 교류를 통해 중세적 감상물 그림을 본격적으로 발전 시켰었을 때부터 대두되기 시작했고, 조선 초기를 거쳐 명 말기의 유행한 탈속·심미적 서화고동 취미의 영향과 조선 후기에 이르러 시·서·화 겸비와 서화수장 등 그림 애호 풍조가 유행하고 확산되면서 크게 활기를 띠게 된다. 조선시대 미술작품 비평의 대표적인 형식으로는 시형식 비평, 화제형식 비평, 만록형식의 열전식 비평, 평론형식 비평, 서간 형식의 비평 등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 조선시대의 미술비평에 대해 고찰해보고, 그것을 기초로 하여 미술비평학습에 적용 가능한 방안을 탐색해 보고자 한다. 그러나 조선시대 미술비평 방법을 학교 미술현장에서 그대로 적용하기란 매우 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 조선시대 미술비평의 형식 중에서 학교현장에 적용이 가능한 것을 재구성하여 시 형식의 비평과 편지글 형식의 비평을 적용해 보고 그 가능성을 찾아보는데 있다.

영문 초록

It may cause misunderstanding that only the West has the art comments and criticism, and we do not. But this is through ignorance of our traditional art culture. In Korea, the art criticism activities have been started with exchanging with repatriation to the North for getting into stride the appreciative criticism in the middle & late of the Koryo. From early Chosun to end Myung, unworldliness and esthetical hobbies have influenced and come into fashion the late Chosun's poetry, writings, and pictures' combination. Besides, pictures protection trend have become popular and energetic. There are five representative art criticism forms, poetry, composition written, a series of biographies, commentary, and epistolary. It may be very difficult to applicate to the method of Chosun's art criticism in the art education program as it is. It is provided the reconstruction of poetry and letter forms' criticism with easy application to the school program, and also its possibility. To apply to the forms of Chosun's art criticism to the students, there were attempts by stages. Firstly, let students read the poetry, and then draw pictures. Secondly, the vice versa, see the pictures, and then make the poetry. Finally, students choose either poetry forms' criticism or letter forms' in the internal step for the appreciation activity. Poetry and letters are less burden for them, because it has been often handled in Korean classes. However, it is not easy for students to understand and make comments on that. For students' better understanding of poetry and letters forms' criticism, it is necessary to offer the chances to readn and understand their friends' commentaries in a class.
