국문 초록

본고에서는 미술영재들에게 영향을 미치는 환경적 요인, 특히 교육과정 계획시 고려 되어야할 요인들이 학교 급별로 제시되어 있다. 또한 미술영재 교육의 다양한 운영형태와 사례, 효과를 제시하여 미술영재 교육의 다양한 운영방안에 대한 논의가 되고 있으며 미술영재교육의 효과를 높이기 위한 행정적, 사회적 지원에 대한 제안을 하고 있다. 특히 본고에서는 미술영재들에게 잠재되어 있는 예술적 감수성을 조형언어를 사용하여 독창적인 작품세계로 발전시킬 수 있도록 하기 위해 예술적 기본 원리를 스스로 발견하고 활용 할 수 있도록 하는 예술통합 미술영재 교육과정의 특성과, 목표, 내용구성 사례 등을 소개하여 미술영재들을 위한 구체적인 교육 방안을 제안하고 있다. 또한 본고에서는 미술영재교육의 효과를 극대화 하기위한 미술영재 교육 프로그램의 운영 방안과 미술영제들을 위한 교육 행정상의 지원이 논의 되고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to present developing curriculum for artistically talented students. Programs for artistically talented students should develop more advanced learning activities and present content in great depth and breadth than is typical for any grade level. This paper suggest the integrated art curriculum for artistically talented students. Deliberately and carefully constructed curriculum are essential if artistically talented students are to be able to demonstrate acquisition of skill, knowledge, and understanding about the visual arts. Programs for artistically talented students should be evaluated so that students' progress and achievement are assessed appropriately and equitably. The artistically talented students should be encouraged to attend advanced classes and study with mentor-artists. They can be offered options that include attending collage or university for advanced art courses, enrolling in correspondence courses with advanced art content, using opportunities to bypass course prerequisites, studying with a mentor for part of school day and earning full credit for courses by examination.
