영문 초록

This paper tried to discuss the status of non-fiction texts in Korean language education. To improve students' communicative skills, we need to introduce and reproduce real communicative texts in the world, and encourage students to read and write them for their communicative purpose. But, still students were caged in classroom, and made to study educational texts in their 7th textbooks. So, this paper reviewed the concept of text, non-fiction texts' class, and current teaching contents. Then this proposed new teaching methods in non-fiction text instruction, considering the relation of situation and text.
