국문 초록

본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년 대상 비형식 환경교육프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. Richey와 Klein(2007)이 제안한 설계 및 개발 연구방법론을 적용하였다. 문헌 및 사례연구, 요구조사를 통해 교육프로그램을 개발하고, 전문가 형성평가(FGI평가 및 CVI)를 통해 타당도를 검증하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 하는 환경교육프로그램의 핵심가치, 학습프로세스, 지원 구조를 도출하여 교육프로그램 초안을 개발하였다. 둘째, 1, 2차 FGI평가를 통해 전문가 의견을 수렴하여 환경교육프로그램 초안을 수정·보완하고, 개선안을 도출하여 내용 타당도(CVI) 검사를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 학교 밖 청소년 대상으로 하는 비형식 환경교육프로그램의 최종안을 개발하였다. 연구결과는 학교 밖 청소년 교육을 담당하는 교수자들이 학교 밖 청소년을 위한 환경교육프로그램을 개발 빛 운영하는 본보기로써 활용할 수 있다. 학교 밖 청소년들은 창의적 문제해결역량을 갖추고, 삶의 변화와 실천하며, 환경과 지역 공동체 가치 함양함으로써 지역사회의 다양한 환경문제에 관심을 가지고 해결방안을 모색할 수 있다. 이를 통해 일상생활 속에서 지속적으로 실천하는 과정에서 변화와 혁신을 추구할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 본 연구는 환경과 관련된 창업 및 창직과 같은 학교 밖 청소년들의 진로교육에도 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study aims to develop a non-formal environmental education program for out-of-school youth. The design and development research methodology proposed by Richey and Klein (2007) was applied. The program was developed through literature reviews, case studies, and needs assessments, and its validity was verified through expert formative evaluations (FGI evaluations and CVI). The results of the study are as follows: First, the core values, learning processes, and support structures of an environmental education program for out-of-school youth were identified, leading to the development of a draft program. Second, the draft program was revised and improved based on expert feedback gathered from the first and second FGI evaluations, and a content validity index (CVI) test was conducted on the improved version. Through this process, the final version of the non-formal environmental education program for out-of-school youth was developed. The results can serve as a model for educators responsible for teaching out-of-school youth to develop and implement environmental education programs. Out-of-school youth will be equipped with creative problem-solving skills, enact positive changes in their lives, and foster a sense of environmental and community values, enabling them to engage with and address various environmental issues in their communities. This continuous practice in daily life will lead to the pursuit of change and innovation. Furthermore, this study is expected to contribute to career education for out-of-school youth, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship and job creation related to the environment.
