국문 초록

긍정적인 감정은 학생들의 학습 참여와 성과를 높이는 반면, 부정적인 감정은 학습에 방해가 된다고 여겨져 왔다. 하지만 일부 연구자들은 부정적 감정이 학습에 도움이 될 수 있다고 주장한다. 특히 '어려운 역사'를 가르치고 배움에 있어 느끼는 부정적 감정은 시간이 지나면서 긍정적이고 의미 있는 역할을 할 수 있고, 도덕적 의미와 가치를 배우는 데 도움이 된다고 주장한다. 박물관의 교육적 역할이 강조되면서 청소년과 어린이, 가족들을 대상으로 한 연구가 중요해지고 있고, '어려운 역사'를 학습하기 위한 장소로 박물관을 찾는다. 그리고 박물관은 전시 주제를 효과적으로 전달하기 위해 감정을 적극적으로 활용한다. 따라서 이번 연구를 위해 전쟁기념관에서 어린이를 포함한 가족의 경험에 대해 부모를 대상으로 인터뷰하여 의미 네트워크 분석을 실시하였고, 부모의 인식 구조 속 긍정적 감정과, 부정적 감정의 관계를 시각화하여 의미 구조를 파악하였다. 연구결과 감정의 종류에 따라 개인의 학습과 참여에 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 맥락적 요소들의 상호연관성이나 연결 구조를 통해 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이번 연구는 부정적 감정의 교육적 가치를 재조명하고, 의미 네트워크 분석을 통한 감정과 학습의 관계를 시각화 하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Positive emotions have been considered to enhance students' learning engagement and performance, while negative emotions have been thought to hinder learning. However, some researchers argue that negative emotions can be beneficial for learning. Specifically, when teaching and learning about "difficult history", the negative emotions experienced can play a positive and meaningful role over time, helping to learn moral significance and values. As the educational role of museums is emphasized, research targeting adolescents, children, and families is becoming increasingly important, and museums are being sought out as places to learn about “difficult history”. Moreover, museums actively utilize emotions to effectively convey exhibition themes. Therefore, for this study, interviews were conducted with parents at the War Memorial of Korea to understand the experiences of families, including children. A semantic network analysis was performed on the interviews, visualizing the relationships between positive and negative emotions within parents' perception structures. The study results indicated that different types of emotions play an important role in individual learning and engagement, which can be observed through the interrelationships and connection structures of contextual elements. This study is significant in that it re-examines the educational value of negative emotions and visualizes the relationship between emotions and learning through semantic network analysis.
