만3세 벼리의 자발적인 노래 만들어 부르기 경험의 교육적 의미 탐색

국문 초록

이 연구는 만3세 유아의 자발적인 노래 만들어 부르기 경험의 교육적 의미를 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이 를 위해 15주간 W시에 위치한 T어린이집에 재원 중인 만3세 벼리의 자발적인 노래 만들어 부르기를 관찰하고 부모와 교사를 대상으로 면담을 실시하였으며, 관찰노트, 동영상 촬영, 면담기록을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 또한 Yin(2013)이 제안한 5단계 순환과정에 따른 질적 분석방법에 따라 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 벼리의 자발적 노래 만들어 부르기는 일상생활의 다양한 맥락에서 발현되었으며, 벼리의 음악적 발달을 이끌고 또래와의 상호작 용과 정서적 표현의 기회를 제공하는 것으로 나타났다. 또 벼리의 자발적인 노래 만들어 부르기는 부모와 교사의 환경적 지원을 비롯한 정서적 지지와 역동적으로 영향을 주고받으며 발전되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구는 창의적 요소가 포함된 유아기 초기 자발적인 노래 만들어 부르기의 교육적 가치를 조명하고, 유아의 일상에서 일어 나는 자발적이며 창의적인 음악경험에 대한 세심한 주의와 적극적인 지원의 필요성을 강조한다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to investigate educational implications of spontaneous song-making and singing (SSMS) among 3-year-old children. Observations were conducted on the SSMS of a 3-year-old child named Byeory at the T Childcare center in W City over a 15-week period, supplemented by interviews with parents and teachers. Data were gathered through observation notes, video recordings, and interview transcripts, and were analyzed using qualitative analysis method based on the five-step cycle proposed by Yin (2021). Research findings reveal that Byeory's SSMS occurred in various everyday contexts, fostering the musical development of young children and providing opportunities for peer interaction and emotional expression. Furthermore, it was observed that Byeory's SSMS experiences were dynamically shaped and enhanced through emotional support, including environmental support from parents and teachers. In conclusion, this study highlights the educational value of early childhood SSMS enriched with creative elements, stressing the importance of attentive and proactive support for spontaneous and creative musical experiences that unfold in daily lives of young children.
