국문 초록

Purpose: This descriptive study aims to examine the factors that influence nursing students' adaptation to clinical practice. Methods: Data were collected using questionnaires from 218 nursing students who were 3rd and 4th years of college. The data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 29.0 program with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Clinical practice adaptation showed a positive correlation with grit(r=.34, p<.001), integrating(r=.32, p<.001), and compromising(r=.20, p=.003), and a negative correlation with avoiding(r=-.17, p=.013). As a multiple regression analysis, the factors significantly influencing the adapta-tion to clinical practice were satisfaction with clinical practice, satisfaction with the nursing department, perseverance of ef-fort, use of integrating and motivation of major selection(attitude), and total explanatory power was 41.8% (F=10.73, p<.001). Conclusion: To improve nursing students' adaptation to clinical practice, efforts in nursing education to increase satisfaction with clinical practice and major, recognition of the importance of grit, development and application of programs to improve grit, using conflict resolution strategy, and activation of systematic career exploration education are required.
