국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 대졸 청년 취업자가 지각한 대학생 시기의 대학생활만족도와 졸업 후 직장만족도 간의 관계에서 진로성숙도와 전공-적성일치도, 교수-학생상호작용의 조절된 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 한국교육종단연구(KELS) 2005 패널 데이터의 9차 및 12차 조사 자료를 활용하였으며, 최종 1,519명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생활만족도와 졸업 후 직장만족도 간의 관계에서 진로성숙도는 부분 매개효과를 보였다. 둘째, 대학생활만족도가 높으면 진로성숙도를 높이고 이로 인해 직장만족도 역시 높아지는데, 이때 전공-적성일치도는 대학생활만족도와 진로성숙도 간의 관계를 조절하였다. 셋째, 대학생활만족도가 높으면 진로성숙도를 높이고 이로 인해 직장만족도 역시 높아지는데, 이때 교수-학생상호작용은 대학생활만족도와 진로성숙도 간의 관계를 조절하였다. 이상의 연구결과는 대학 졸업 후 직장만족도를 고려할 때, 대학생 시기의 진로성숙도, 전공-적성일치도, 교수-학생상호작용이 중요한 요인임을 의미하며, 이러한 요인을 향상시킬 수 있는 대학교육에서의 다양한 노력이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the moderated mediating effects of career maturity, major-aptitude congruence, and faculty-student interaction on the relationship between college graduate employees' perceived college life satisfaction and post-graduation job satisfaction. For this purpose, we used data from the 9th and 12th year of the Korean Education Longitudinal Study (KELS) 2005 panel data, with a final sample of 1,519 students. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, career maturity had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between college life satisfaction and post-graduation job satisfaction. Second, higher college life satisfaction leads to higher career maturity, which leads to higher job satisfaction, but major-aptitude congruence has been shown to reinforce the relationship between college life satisfaction and career maturity. Third, higher college life satisfaction led to higher career maturity, which in turn led to higher job satisfaction and faculty-student interaction strengthened the relationship between college life satisfaction and career maturity. These findings suggest that career maturity, major-aptitude match, and faculty-student interaction during college are important factors when considering job satisfaction after college and that various efforts are needed to improve these factors in higher education.
