노인의 우울에 관한 미술치료 연구동향 분석 2002~2023년 국내 학술지 게재 논문을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 노인의 우울에 관한 미술치료 연구동향을 종합적으로 이해하고 향후 임상 현장에서 프로그램 실행을 위한 기초 정보와 연구의 방향성 및 근거를 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 2002년부터 2023년까지의 국내에서 발표된 학술지 논문 총 43편을 발행정보, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구내용별 분석기준에 따라 기술통계 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 발행정보 분석결과는 학술지에 최초 발표된 2002년부터 최근까지 증가 추세를 유지하며, 미술치료 관련 학술지에 많이 게재되었다. 둘째, 연구대상 분석결과는 남녀 혼성 노인, 의학적 진단 받은 노인, 재가 노인 대상의 연구가 많았고, 5~8명 참여 인원이 가장 많았다. 셋째, 연구방법 분석결과는 혼합연구가 가장 많았고, 객관적 검사도구는 한국형 노인우울척도가 가장 많았으며 투사적 검사도구는 대체로 사용되지 않았다. 넷째, 연구내용 분석결과는 집단미술치료가 높은 비중을 보였고, 노인의료 시설과 노인여가시설에서 연구가 많이 이루어졌다. 회기구성은 총 9~16회기, 주 1회, 회기당 41~60분으로 진행한 연구가 가장 많았다. 치료목표는 심리․정서, 인지, 사회, 감각 및 운동 영역 순으로 나타났다. 평면매체를 사용 한 연구가 가장 많았고, 심리이론적 접근하지 않은 연구가 많았다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to comprehensively analyze research trends in art therapy for depression in the elderly. The study provided basic information, research directions, and evidence for future program implementation in clinical settings. 43 journal articles published in Korea between 2002 and 2023 were analyzed using descriptive statistics based on publication time, research participants, research methods, and research contents. First, the analysis of publication information showed an upward trend from 2002, the year of first publication, to recent years with a high proportion of publications in art therapy journals. Second, the most common participants analyzed in the studies were mixed-gender elderly individuals, medically diagnosed elderly individuals, and homebound elderly individuals. The number of participants ranged from 5 to 8. Third, the most common research method used was mixed methods studies. KGDS was the most frequently used objective instrument, while projective instruments were rarely utilized. Fourth, the analysis of the study contents revealed a high proportion of group art therapy sessions conducted in elderly medical and leisure facilities. The frequency of sessions ranged from 9 to 16, once a week, lasting 41 to 60 minutes per session. Therapeutic goals included psycho-emotional, cognitive, social, sensory, and motor domains. Most studies used flat media and lacked a psychological theoretical approach. The significance and limitations of these findings were discussed.
