인공지능 미술교육 도래에 따른 아동의 미술창작 인식에 대한 질적 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 인공지능이 미술창작을 하는 세상에서, 미술교육의 변화가 모색되어야 한다는 문제의식에서 출발한 아동의 미술창작 인식을 탐구한 질적연구다. 이를 위해 인공지능을 통한 미술창작의 변화와 아동의 미술창작 경험을 사회문화적 관점에서 살펴보았다. 최근 인공지능의 교육적 접목이 활발히 연구되고 있지만, 학습자의 목소리가 탐색되지 않았음을 확인했다. 앞으로 인공지능의 교육적 적용을 위해서는 학습자인 아동에 대한 이해가 선행되어야 할 것이다. 즉, 인공지능을 활용해 보지 않은 아동의 입장에서의 미술창작 인식에 대한 이해를 제공하여 차세대 미술교육 연구에 도움을 주고자 한다. 본 논문은 아동의 미술 창작 인식을 심층적으로 이해하고자, 초등학생 24명에게 반구조화된 인터뷰를 실시하여 아동이 생각하는 창작, 아동이 경험하는 창작, 아동이 원하는 창작으로 분류하고 맥락적으로 해석하였다. 아동의 미술창작은 상상하고 생각하고 해결하는 자발적 의지를 가지는 실천적 행위이며, 사회문화적 상호작용에 영향을 받고 있었다. 연구 결과는 미래교육으로 향하는 오늘에 학습자를 위한 교육 연구와 아동을 이해하는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study started from the problem that art education should be changed in a world where artificial in-telligence creates art. This study is a qualitative study that explored children's perceptions of art creation. To this end, it examined the changes in artistic creation through A.I. and children's experiences of artistic creation from a socio-cultural perspective. Although the educational application of A.I. has been actively studied recently, it found that learners' voices have not been explored. This paper aims to contribute to the next generation art education research by providing an understanding of children's perceptions of art creation from the perspective of children who have not utilized artificial intelligence. To gain a deeper un-derstanding of children's perceptions of artistic creation, this paper conducted semi-structured interviews with 24 elementary school children and categorized and contextualized them into what children think, what children experience, and what children want. Children's art creation is a practical act of voluntary will to imagine, think, and solve, and is influenced by socio-cultural interactions. The results of the study can be utilized as a basis for educational research and understanding children for today's learners heading to-wards future education.
