국문 초록

이 연구는 경기도 내 경계선급 지적 기능 학습자의 교육지원 현황과 요구에 대한 학부모와 교사, 교육전문가의 인식을 파악하였다. 경기도 내 경계선급 지적 기능 자녀를 양육하고 있는 학부모 148명, 교사 243명, 교육전문가 154명, 총 545명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였다. 응답결과, 경계선급 지적 기능 학습자는 전 생애차원에서 학교생활 적응의 전반적인 어려움을 겪고 있지만 교육지원 대상자로 선정되지 못하는 상황이다. 학령기 과정에서는 경계선급 지적 기능 학습자 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 교과 및 진로·진학 지도, 사회성 지도를 반영한 학교생활 지원 방안 마련이 요구되었고 성인기에는 맞춤형 평생교육 지원의 필요성이 제시되었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 경계선급 지적 기능 학습자 선별과 진단체계 마련, 학습자 특성과 지원요구에 기반한 생활기술 및 사회성 교육, 일반학급 내 수업 지원, 일반-특수-상담교사 협력의 다중지원팀 구성 등의 학교 교육 책무성 강화를 위한 방안과 성인기의 평생교육 지원을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the perceptions of parents, teachers, and related education experts regarding the status and needs of educational support for learners with borderline intellectual functioning in Gyeonggi-do. A total of 545 people participated in the online survey, including 148 parents, 243 teachers, and 154 related educational experts. The research participants said that they are currently experiencing difficulties in adapting to school life due to the fact that there is a blind spot in the education law and related system for learners with borderline intellectual functioning, and that there is no individualized educational support system according to the life cycle. The research participants requested the development of a school life support plan that reflects curriculum and career progression guidance, and social skills guidance that takes into account the characteristics of learners with borderline intellectual functioning. Based on the research results, a screening and diagnosis system was established based on the characteristics and support needs of learners with borderline intellectual functioning, a cooperation plan to strengthen school education accountability, and support for lifelong education in adulthood were proposed.
