국문 초록

본 연구는 20대 후반 남성의 성중독 경향 감소를 위한 미술치료 개입의 효과와 변화과정을 알아보기 위한 사례연구이다. 성중독 관련 미술치료는 2022년 5월부터 9월까지 주1회 1시간씩 총 15회기 진행되었고, 추후상담으로 총 5회기가 진행되었다. 변화과정과 효과를 알아보기 위해 검사도구는 온라인용 성중독 척도 사전-사후-추후 검사를 진행하였고, 그림검사를 사전, 사후로 실시하여 비교하였다. 참여자의 자위행위 변화 추이를 관찰하기 위해 행동활성화 기록지를 실시하였고, 회기별 경험 내용을 질적 분석하면서 각 회기가 12단계 성중독 회복 프로그램에서 어느 단계에 해당되는지 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술치료가 성중독 경향을 감소하는데 효과적이다. 둘째, 온라인용 성중독 척도와 그림검사에서 긍정적이고 유의미한 변화가 나타났다. 셋째, 행동활성화 기록지의 내용에서 자위행위가 감소되는 변화를 보였다. 넷째, 추후 개입을 통해 참여자의 감소된 성중독 경향이 지속되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study was a case study to determine the effect of the art therapy intervention to reduce the sex addiction tendencies of a man in his late 20s and the change process. The art therapy related to sex addiction was conducted for a total of 15 sessions of 1 hour once a week from May 2022 to September. A total of 5 sessions were conducted as additional counseling. To find out the process of change and effect, the pre-post-follow tests of the online sex addiction scale were conducted as test tools, and the drawing tests were conducted before and after the therapy. Behavioral Activation record sheets were conducted and compared to observe the trend in the masturbation behavior of the participant, and the experience of each session was analyzed qualitatively to examine which stage each session corresponds to in the 12-step sex addiction recovery program. The results of this study were as follows: First, art therapy was effective in reducing sex addiction tendencies. Second, there were positive and significant changes in the online sex addiction scale and drawing tests. Third, a reduction in masturbation behavior was shown in the contents of the behavioral activation record sheet. Fourth, the participant’s reduced sex addiction tendencies lasted through further interventions. Based on research results, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
