정서적 방임을 경험한 청년의 인형상징체계를 활용한 인형치료 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초기 양육자와의 관계에서 정서적 방임을 경험한 청년의 만성적인 불안을 인형상징체계를 활용하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한 불안과 함께, 강박, 환청, 망상 등 다양한 증상들을 보이며 대인관계에서 문제 패턴을 보이는 청년 내담자에게 인형상징체계를 활용한 인형심리진단(자기인식, 타인인식, 가족체계, 또래관계)과 상담을 통해 자신의 무의식을 봄으로서 좀 더 자신에 대한 정확한 이해와 공감으로 상황을 객관적으로 볼 수 있는 시각을 형성하였다. 본 연구는 인형에 나타난 무의식적 욕구를 인정하고 받아들이게 되는 과정에서, 그 상징체계가 갖는 의미를 내담자가 인정하고 받아들여, 의식으로 전환되어, 내적인 갈등과 불균형을 통합할 수 있도록 도와 긴장, 불안, 우울감이 낮아지며 자존감이 높아지는 긍정적 변화의 과정을 보여주는 연구이다. 본 연구는 아동기 애착의 문제인 정서적 방임을 겪은 청년을 대상으로 하는 질적 연구로서, 개인이 처한 환경속에서 이러한 변화의 과정을 면밀히 연구하고자 1명의 사례라는 인원 상 한계가 있는 연구 결과이지만, 향후 지속적인 연구로 인형심리진단과 인형치료를 활용한 청년들을 위한 사회서비스 설계를 긍정적으로 검토할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to examine the chronic anxiety of a young woman who experienced emotional neglect in her childhood from early fosterers, using figure symbolic system. In addition, through figure psychological diagnosis (self-awareness, others' perception, family system, peer relationship) and figure therapy using the figure symbolic system, a young client who shows various symptoms such as obsession, auditory hallucination, and delusion could see the situation objectively with a more accurate understanding and empathy for her. In the process of acknowledging and accepting the unconscious needs of figures, this study shows the process of positive change in which the client recognizes and accepts the meaning of the symbolic system, turns into consciousness, helps to integrate internal conflicts and imbalances, reducing tension, anxiety, and depression, and increasing self-esteem. This study is a qualitative study targeting a young woman who had experienced emotional neglect, a problem of attachment in her childhood, and is a result of a study that has a limitation in the number of people who want to closely study the process of change in the environment of an individual, but it is expected that continuous research will positively review the design of social services for young man using figure psychology diagnosis and figure therapy.
