온라인 국제교육실습의 성과와 전망 -공주교육대학교 사례중심으로

국문 초록

해외 파견 교생실습인 국제교육실습은 각 대학교의 추진목표에 따라 다양하게 이루어질 수 있다. 선진국의 앞선 교육현장을 참관 학습할 수도 있고 우리나라와 비슷한 이웃나라와 교류증진 차원에서 추진할 수도 있으며 외국 실습생을 우리가 받아들일 수도 있다. 교육대학의 경우에도 어떤 형태와 방법으로 실습을 추진하는 것이 좋을지 표준 모델이 없다. 본고에서는 공주교육대학교와 미국 텍사스 주 앤젤로 주립대학교(Angelo State University, 이하 ASU)가 현재 추진하고 있는 해외교생실습 추진배경과 모델의 변경과정을 자세히 설명함으로써 해외실습교육에 관심 있는 대학가에 조금이라도 참고자료가 되었으면 하는데 주안점을 두고 있다. 국내에서 처음 시도된 공주교대의 온라인 해외교생실습의 성과는 무엇보다도 코로나19로 인해 영구중단 위기에 처했던 해외교생실습 사업이 되살아나 새로운 활로를 찾게 된 것이며 더 나아가 해외교생실습은 앞으로 코로나와 같은 외부환경에 관계없이 매년 추진할 수 있는 바탕을 마련하게 된 것이라고 그 성과를 평가 할 수 있겠다. 온라인 해외교생실습 교육은 특별한 이론이나 기술이 필요하지 않다. 안정된 온라인 줌 확보와 실습생들의 단체 활동 의식을 유도하는 것이 관건이다. 이에 따른 모델만 잘 개발하면 어느 대학 어느 담당 교수든 해외실습을 부담 없이 수행할 수 있을 것으로 전망된다. 교육당국이 실습종목별 및 실습기간별로 최선의 다양한 모델을 개발해서 제시한다면 해외 교생실습교육이 보다 넓게 확산될 것으로 전망된다.

영문 초록

International teaching practicum can be carried out in various ways according to the goals of each university. You can observe and study school education site of advanced countries, promote exchanges with neighboring countries of the same level, or accept foreign trainees. Even in the case of national universities of education, there is no standard model for what form and method should be promoted. In this study, the main focus is on the background of the international teaching practicum currently promoted by Gongju National University of Education and Angelo State University of Education(ASU) in Texas, U.S., and the process of changing the model in detail, hoping to serve as a reference for universities interested in international teaching practicum education. In particular, the achievement of Gongju National University of Education's online international teaching practicum, which is the first precedent in Republic of Korea, is above all that the partnership between Gongju National University and ASU and international teaching practicum, which were in danger of permanent suspension due to COVID-19, revived and found a new way out. Regardless of the situation, it can be said that it has laid the groundwork for continuation every year in the future. Online international teaching practicum education does not require special theories or skills. The key is securing a stable online zoom and inducing students to have a senses of group activity. If the model is well developed, it is expected that any university or any professor in charge will be able to carry out international teaching practicum practice without any burden. If the educational authorities develop and present the best various models for each practice item and practice period, international teaching practicum education is expected to spread more widely.
