다문화가정 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 심리사회적 적응의 관계: 자아정체감의 매개효과와 지각된 사회적 지지의 조절효과

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 다문화가정 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 심리사회적 적응이 어떤 관계가 있는지 탐색하고, 그 관계를 자아정체감의 매개효과와 지각된 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 통해 검증하였다. 빈도분석, Pearson의 적률상관분석, 중다회귀분석 결과, 다문화가정 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 자아정체감, 지각된 사회적 지지는 유의한 부적 상관을 보였고, 문화적응 스트레스와 심리사회적 적응은 유의한 정적 상관이 있었다. 문화적응 스트레스는 각 변인에 영향력이 있는 변인으로 나타났다. Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 위계적 회귀분석에 따른 매개효과 검증 결과, 문화적응 스트레스가 심리사회적 적응에 미치는 영향에서 자아정체감이 부분매개를 하는 것으로 나타났다. Aiken과 West(1991)의 절차에 따른 조절효과 검증 결과, 지각된 사회적 지지가 조절효과를 나타내지 않았다. 즉, 다문화가정 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스는 심리사회적 적응과 긴밀한 관계가 있었고, 문화적응 스트레스와 심리사회적 적응의 관계에서 자아정체감의 매개효과를 확인하였으며, 따라서 심리사회적 적응문제를 줄이기 위해서는 다문화가정 청소년의 건강한 자아정체감 형성을 위한 노력이 필요하다고 보았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of ego-identity and the moderating effect of perceived social support between acculturation stresses and psycho-social adjustments. Acculturation stress scale items are designed based on focus group interviews, and the previous studies are reviewed to examine content validity, construct validity, and reliability. The major findings were as follows. First, acculturation stress shows a significant positive correlation with psycho-social adjustment and negative correlation with ego-identity. Second, the mediating effect of ego-identity between acculturation stress and psycho-social adjustment reveals that ego-identity has a partial mediation effect on the relationship between the two variables. Third, the moderating effect of perceived social support between acculturation stress and psycho-social adjustment reveals that the perception of social support has no moderating effect on the relationship between the two variables. Finally, the limitations and suggestions for future research are mentioned.
