국문 초록

본 연구는 세대 간 다른 가족맥락에 의한 가족 과업과 가족 스트레스의 관계를 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위한 연구 대상으로 영화 <용길이네 곱창집>을 선정하여, 세대 간 다른 가족맥락이 만들어내는 가족 과업의 양상은 어떠한지, 가족 과업과 가족 스트레스의 관계는 어떠한지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 영화 분석 방법으로는 언어적 서사 구조와 영상 화면의 서사 구조를 통해, <용길이네 곱창집>의 가족맥락과 가족 과업으로 인한 가족 스트레스에 적용하여 분석하였다. 이 영화의 역사적·사회적 맥락으로 본 영화 주인공인 용길이는 일본 사회에서 정착하고 적응하기 위해서는 아들 토키오가 일본의 최고 사립학교에서 일본 교육을 받아야만 한다는 가족 과업을 형성하게 된다. 그러나 토키오는 일본의 주류 사회로 상징되는 일본 사립학교에 받아들여지지 않았고 집단 따돌림과 폭력을 당하게 된다. 이 과정에서 토키오는 자신과 가족과 세상에 좌절과 분노감을 느끼게 되고 결국 가족 스트레스는 극단에 치닫게 된다. 이런 <용길이네 곱창집>의 일련의 서사 과정을 통해 가족 과업으로 인한 가족 스트레스를 분석하였으며, 시대적·공간적 배경을 넘어서 세대 간 이해관계가 겹치는 이 시대를 살아가는 가족에게 시사하는 바를 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to present family tasks and family stress based on different family contexts between generations. To this end, the movie Yonggil's Gopchang Restaurant was selected to examine the patterns of family tasks created by different family contexts between generations and the relationship between family tasks and family stress. As a movie analysis method, S. Chatman (1978)'s linguistic narrative structure and the narrative structure of the video screen were applied to the family context of Yonggil's Gopchang Restaurant and family stress caused by family tasks. Yong-gil, the main character of the movie in the historical and social context of the film, will form a family task that his son Tokio must receive Japanese education at the best private school in Japan in order to settle and adapt in Japanese society. However, Tokio was not accepted by a Japanese private school symbolized by Japan's mainstream society and suffered bullying and violence. In the process, Tokio feels frustrated and angry at himself, his family, and the world, and eventually, family stress reaches extremes. Through this series of narrative processes in Yonggil's Gopchangjip, family stress caused by family tasks was analyzed, and implications were discussed for families living in this era where interests between generations overlap beyond the historical and spatial background.
