영문 초록

In ancient Chinese society during the Eastern Han Dynasty, there were many evils and harms throughout society. A typical example is the monopoly of political power and high status by the clan aristocrats. At the time, the intellectuals of the poor private class criticized the unfair behavior of the clan aristocrats. In addition, they hoped to be able to contact the political world by claiming a position to expand the real power of the emperor. And he hoped that his political status would improve. Wang Chong, who survived at this time, must have escaped the eyes of the powerful because he very frankly criticized the political situation of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the vested powers, that is, the clan aristocracy. However, Wang Chong hoped that the discussion on the state of affairs he wrote would be adopted by the emperor and become an official. In addition, Wang Chong's presentation of talent recruitment-related information at Lun Heng and emphasizing the importance of wise talent recruitment can be said to have been his desire to be appointed as a government official. Then, what kind of talent did Wang Chong long for through Lun Heng? It is expected that the answer to these questions will be found through the analysis of Wang Chong's writings. I think that this work can provide very meaningful clues to identify the competent talents of intellectuals in the Eastern Han period.
