국문 초록

본 연구는 모래놀이치료에서 자주 등장하는 ‘닭’의 상징성을 확충한 후 모래놀이 사례 안에서 살펴보았다. 닭의 상징적 의미를 살펴보면, 첫 번째 천지창조와 의인 탄생, 두 번째 계명과 시보, 세 번째 입신출세와 부귀공명, 네 번째 영혼의 소리, 다섯 번째 깨달음, 여섯 번째 용맹성, 일곱 번째 잡귀나 요물 퇴치, 여덟번째 모성성, 아홉 번째 희생 제물 등이 있다. 이러한 닭의 상징성을 확충하고, 실제 모래놀이치료 사례에 나타난 닭에도 위와 같은 상징성이 나타나고 있는가 살펴본 결과, 40대 두 형제를 둔 어머니의 사례를 통해 닭은 품어주는 따뜻한 모성성과 가정을 지키고자 하는 용맹성으로 나타났고, 30대 기혼여성 사례에서는 강인하고 당당하게 살고 싶은 마음을 수탉의 용맹성에 투사하고 있음을 볼 수 있다. 이는 자기의 내면에 힘이 있음을 깨닫고 이를 의식화해서 다른 사람들과의 관계 형성에 두려움 없이 나아가는 힘과 연결이 되었다. 10세 남자 아동의 모래놀이 사례에서는 크고 작은 다양한 알과 수탉의 모습으로, 이는 새로운 의인 탄생을 고대하는 잠재력과 용맹한 남성적인 힘으로 나타났음을 볼 수 있었다.->8살 남아의 모래놀이 사례에서는 두 번째 상징인 계명과 시보로서의 상징성을 나타내고 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study explored the symbolism of the chicken that frequently appears in sandplay therapy and examined it within sandplay cases. When examining the symbolic meanings of the chicken, there are first the creation of heaven and earth and the birth of the righteous, secondly the time signal, Third wealth, rank and fame, achieve fame and prestige, fourthly the sound of the soul, fifthly enlightenment, sixthly bravery, seventhly exorcism of demons and evil spirits, eighthly maternal love, and ninthly sacrificial offerings. Having expanded on the symbolism of the chicken and examining whether the same symbolism appeared in actual sandplay therapy cases, it was found that in the case of a mother with two brothers in their 40s, the chicken symbolized warm maternal love and bravery to protect the home, while in the case of a married woman in her 30s, it represented the desire to live strongly and confidently projected onto the chicken's bravery. This connection allowed her to realize the power within herself, become conscious of it, and move forward in forming relationships with others without fear. In the case of a 10-year-old boy's sandplay therapy, the appearance of various large and small eggs and a rooster symbolized the potential for the birth of a new righteous person and powerful masculine strength.
