초등교사의 다문화 감수성과 다문화 교수효능감의 관계에서 다문화 사회정의역량의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등교사의 다문화 감수성과 다문화 교수효능감의 관계에서 다문화 사회정의역량의 매개효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 초등학교 교사 온라인 커뮤니티를 통해 2주 동안 다문화 감수성, 다문화 교수효능감, 다문화 사회정의역량 척도를 실시하고, 초등학교 남녀교사 총 276명의 응답 자료에 대하여 최종 분석하였다. 통계패키지로는 JAMOVI 2.2.5를 활용하였고, 회귀분석과 매개효과분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 다문화 감수성, 다문화 사회정의역량, 다문화 교수효능감 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사의 다문화 사회정의역량에 대한 다문화 감수성의 설명력, 다문화 교수효능감에 대한 다문화 감수성과 다문화 사회정의역량의 설명력은 하위요인에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 셋째, 교사의 다문화 감수성과 다문화 교수효능감 간의 관계에서 다문화 사회정의역량은 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 교육장면에서 사회 환경적 요인을 변화시키기 위한 실천의지를 담은 다문화 사회정의역량을 매개로 다문화 교수효능감에 미치는 간접적인 영향을 밝혔다는데 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out mediating effect of multicultural social justice competency in the relationship between elementary school teachers multicultural sensitivity and multicultural teaching efficacy. For this purpose, multicultural sensitivity, multicultural teaching efficacy, and multicultural social justice competency scale were conducted for two weeks through the online community of elementary school teachers, and the response data of 276 maleand female elementary school teachers were finally analyzed. JAMOVI 2.2.5 statistical package was used, and regression analysis and mediation analysis were conducted. The results of this study were as follows. First, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between teachers’multicultural sensitivity, multicultural social justice competence and multicultural teaching efficacy. Second, the explanatory power of multicultural sensitivity for multicultural social justice competency of teachers, multicultural sensitivity and multicultural social justice competency for multicultural teaching efficacy appeared different according to sub-factors. Third, multicultural social justice competency had a partial mediating effects on the relationship between multicultural sensitivity of teachers and multicultural teaching efficacy. These results are meaningful in that they verified the indirect effect on multicultural teaching efficacy through the social justice capacity that contains the will to change the social environmental factors in the educational scene.
