국문 초록

이 연구는 담임교사의 임파워링 리더십, 학생의 자기효능감, 진로성숙도 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 울산광역시 소재 고등학교 1학년 학생 843명의 설문을 바탕으로 구조방정식모형을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 학생이 인식한 담임교사의 임파워링 리더십은 학생의 진로성숙도와 자기효능감에 유의한 영향을 미치고, 학생의 자기효능감은 학생의 진로성숙도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부트스트랩 분석 결과 학생이 인식한 담임교사의 임파워링 리더십은 학생의 자기효능감을 매개로 학생의 진로성숙도에 직접효과와 함께 간접효과도 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 담임교사가 임파워링 리더십을 발휘할수록 학생의 자기효능감과 진로성숙도가 향상되고, 학생의 자기효능감 수준이 높을수록 진로성숙도에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 담임교사가 임파워링 리더십을 발휘할 수 있도록 교육과 연수를 통해 역량을 키워주고, 담임교사는 학생의 자기효능감을 높이는 지도력을 갖추어야 할 것이다. 또한 학생의 개인 수준에서 진로교육이 효과를 발휘하기 위해서는 담임교사의 진로지도 역량을 강화해야 하고, 담임교사가 수업과 학생 지도에 전념할 수 있는 여건이 조성되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship among the homeroom teacher's empowering leadership, self-efficacy of students, and career maturity. To this end, the structural equation model was analyzed based on a survey of 843 first-year high school students in Ulsan Metropolitan City. As a result of the study, it was found that the homeroom teacher's empowering leadership perceived by the student had a significant effect on the student's career maturity and self-efficacy, and the self-efficacy of students had a significant effect on the student's career maturity. In addition, as a result of bootstrap analysis, it was analyzed that the homeroom teacher's empowering leadership perceived by the student had a direct effect and an indirect effect on the student's career maturity through the self-efficacy of students. This means that the more the homeroom teacher demonstrates empowering leadership, the better the self-efficacy of students and career maturity, and the higher the self-efficacy of students, the more positive it has on career maturity. Therefore, the homeroom teacher should develop their competency through education and training so that their can demonstrate empowering leadership, and the homeroom teacher should have leadership that increases the self-efficacy of students. In addition, in order for career education to be effective at the individual level of students, the homeroom teacher's career guidance capability must be strengthened, and conditions must be created for the homeroom teacher to focus on classes and student guidance.
