치매환자 대상의 성년후견제도에 관한 중장년층의 인식

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구에서는 중장년층을 대상으로 치매환자 대상의 성년후견제도에 대한 인식을 조사하고 일반적 특성에 따른 치매환자 대상의 성년후견제도에 대한 인식의 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 2022년 2월에서 4월까지 만 45세 이상의 전국 중장년층을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 110부의 자료가 수집되었으며, SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, Pearson 카이제곱 검정, Fisher의 정확 검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 치매환자 대상의 성년후견제도에 대한 중장년층의 인식을 조사한 결과, 중장년층이 해당 제도에 대해 긍정적으로 인식한 것 비해 실제로 성년후견제도에 대한 인식수준은 높지 않았다. 또한 중장년층의 결혼상태(p<.01), 종교(p<.05), 최종학력수준(p<.001), 가족월수입(p<.05), 가족 중 치매경험여부(p<.05), 치매안심센터 이용경험(p<.001)에 따라 치매환자 대상의 성년후견제도에 대한 인식수준은 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 결론: 치매환자 대상의 성년후견제도에 대한 인식수준을 높이고 제도가 실효성을 갖기 위해서는 지역사회 내 제도 활용을 위한 교육 및 홍보, 관련 연구들이 활성화되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objective : This study attempted to investigate the awareness of middle-aged on the Adult guardianship policy for dementia patients and to find out the difference in awareness of the adult guardianship policy for dementia patients according to general characteristics. Methods : From February to April 2022, an online survey was conducted on middle-aged people nationwide aged 45 or older. Total of 110 surveys were used as data and frequency analysis, Pearson chi-square test, and Fisher's exact test were performed using SPSS 22.0 program. Results : As a result of examining the awareness of the middle-aged on the adult guardianship policy for dementia patients, the level of awareness of the adult guardianship policy was not actually high compared to the positive awareness of the policy. In addition, there was a statistically significant difference in the level of awareness of the adult guardianship policy for dementia patients according to the marital status(p<.01), religion(p<.05), Highest academic qualification(p<.001), family monthly income(p<.05) incidence of dementia in the family(p<.05), and experience using the dementia care center(p<.001). Conclusion : In order to raise the level of awareness of the adult guardianship policy for dementia patients and to make the system effective, education, promotion, and related studies for the use of the policies in the community should be activated.
