장애학생 아버지 자조모임 운영 사례와활성화 방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 지역 장애자녀 아버지 자조모임 사례의 시작과 성장·발전과정 그리고 활성화 방안을 모색하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 아버지 자조모임에 4년여 이상 정회원으로 참여한 6명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 2회 실시하였다. 질적 분석을 통해 자조모임 결성과 추진동력, 자조모임 활동 프로그램, 자조모임 참여 후 변화, 미래 활성화 방안의 4개의 중분류가 도출되었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 결성 시 자조모임에 대한 이해가 없고 모델도 거의 없어 어려움이 있었으나 전문가의 조력과 임원들의 열성으로 모임을 결성할 수 있었다. 둘째, 자녀와 가족 중심의 활동, 예비특수교사의 참여, 지역사회 사업 참여가 자조모임의 성장과 발전에 중요한 역할을 하였다. 셋째, 자조모임 활동을 통해 아버지 자신, 장애가 있는 자녀, 부부 관계, 지역사회 장애학생가족에 대한 인식이 변화되었다. 넷째, 지속가능한 자조모임을 위해 아버지 자조모임 홍보, 아버지 역량강화, 전문가 자원 및 재정적 자원이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the beginning, growth, and development process, and revitalization plan of the case of local fathers of disabled children’s self-help group. In-depth interviews were conducted twice with 6 people who participated in the father's self-help group as regular members for more than 4 years. Through qualitative analysis, four categories were derived: self-help group formation and driving force, self-help group activity program, changes after participation in self-help group, and future revitalization plan. The study results are as follows: first, there were difficulties because there was no understanding of self-help groups and few models at the time of formation. Second, activities centered on children and families, participation of pre-service special education teachers, and participation in local community projects played an important role in the growth and development of self-help groups. Third, self-help group activities changed the perception of fathers themselves, children with disabilities, marital relationships, and families of students with disabilities in the local community. Fourth, it was found that promoting father's self-help group, strengthening father's capacity, professional resources and financial resources are needed for sustainable self-help groups. Finally, suggestions for follow-up studies are presented.
