국어 교과의 교수적 수정 중요도와 실행역량에 관한 초등 예비일반교사의 인식변화 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 초등 예비일반교사의 기초 문해력 관련 국어 학습부진 학생 지도에 대한 인식과 실행역량을 함양하기 위해 교수적 수정 수업을 제공하였다. 교수적 수정 수업은 요약하기 전략을 중심으로, 교수적 수정의 목적, 4가지 교수적 수정의 영역인 교수내용, 교수방법, 평가방법, 교수환경과 교수집단에 대한 개념, 요약하기 전략의 실제 적용방법, 국어 교과 수업지도안 작성 등의 교수-학습 활동을 통해 약 7주 동안 진행되었다. J 교육대학교 2-3학년에 재학 중인 총 156명의 예비일반교사들이 본 연구에 참여하였고, 수업 전후로 교수적 수정의 중요도와 실행역량에 대한 인식에 어떤 변화가 나타나는지를 SPSS의 대응표본 t-검정을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 예비일반교사들의 교수적 수정에 대한 중요도 인식은 사전-사후검사에서 모두 ‘중요하게 생각한다’ 수준으로 높게 조사되어, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 사전-사후검사에서 예비일반교사들이 가장 중요하게 인식한 교수적 수정 영역은 교수내용이었고, 교수방법, 교수환경과 교수집단, 평가방법 순으로 나타났다. 한편, 교수적 수정에 대한 실행역량 인식은 사전검사에서 ‘보통’ 수준에서 사후검사에서 ‘실행할 수 있다’ 수준으로 향상되어 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 사전-사후검사에서 예비일반교사들이 가장 실행하기 어렵다고 인식한 교수적 수정 영역은 교수내용이었고, 교수방법, 평가방법, 교수환경과 교수집단 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 국어 교과 뿐 아니라 다른 교과에서 학습부진을 겪고 있는 많은 초등학생들에게 교수적 수정을 적용한 맞춤형 개별교육을 효과적으로 제공할 수 있는 역량있는 예비일반교사를 양성하기 위한 방안들을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study provided instructional adaptation course to cultivate the abilities of pre-service elementary-school teachers to guide students with learning difficulties in Korean. The instructional adaptation course was conducted for about 7 weeks, focusing on the summary strategy and various teaching-learning activities. A total of 156 pre-service elementary-school teachers attending the second and third grades of J University of Education participated in this study. SPSS paired t-test was used to analyze what changes occur in their perception of the importance and execution capabilities of instructional adaptation among the pre-service elementary-school teachers. As the result of the study, there was no statistically significant differences as the perception of the importance of instructional adaptation at the high level in the pre- and post-test. On the other hand, the perception of execution competency of instructional adaptation was found to be at the normal level in the pre-test, but it was improved to the executable level in the post-test, showing a statistically significant difference. Based on the results of this study, we discussed ways to cultivate competent pre-service elementary-school teachers who can effectively provide individualized instruction by applying instructional adaptation for many elementary-school students who are suffering from learning difficulties in Korean as well as other subjects.
