국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 디지털미디어리터러시 역량에 대한 보육교사의 인식을 알아보고, 보육교사에게 요구되는 디지털미디어리터러시 역량을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 부산지역의 보육교사 276명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 연령에 따른 인식을 알아본 결과, 20~29세가 모든 영역에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 학력에 따른 인식을 알아본 결과, 컴퓨터리터러시·지식리터러시에서 대학원 졸업이 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 경력에 따른 인식을 알아본 결과, 5년 미만의 경력이 모든 영역에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 기관 유형에 따른 인식을 알아본 결과, 직장어린이집이 모든 영역에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 다섯째, 담당학급에 따른 인식을 알아본 결과, 만3~5세 유아반이 모든 영역에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 디지털미디어리터러시 역량에 대한 보육교사의 인식 구조를 밝혀줌으로써 향후 보육교사의 디지털미디어리터러시 수용·활용을 촉진하는 방안 마련에 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceptions of childcare teachers in relation to digital media literacy competency and to identify the digital media literacy competency required for childcare teachers. To this end, a survey was conducted with 276 childcare teachers in the Busan area as research participants. An examination of the results based on the perceptions of childcare teachers according to age, teachers aged 20-29 displayed the highest levels in all areas. Moreover, an examination based on academic background found that graduate school alumni showed the highest levels of digital media literacy competency. A further examination based on career experience found that those with less than 5 years of experience displayed the highest levels in all areas. Another results based on institution type found that workplace daycare centers were the highest in all areas. Finally, a study based on the class in charge found that classes of children aged 3- to 5-years-old were the highest in all areas. These results overall provide implications for preparing measures as to promote childcare teachers’ acceptance and utilization of digital media through the analysis of the structure of their perceptions of digital media literacy competency.
