미래교육을 위한 유아교사의 디지털 역량 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 미래사회를 예측하고 미래교육을 이끌 수 있는 유아교사의 역할 변화에 대한 사회적 요구에 따라 유아교사에게 필요한 디지털 역량을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌분석, 현장교사와 유아교육전문가를 대상으로 초점집단인터뷰(FGI), 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 유아교사의 디지털 역량의 개념은 ‘디지털 사회 구성원인 유아교사로서 디지털 교육을 위해 필요한 디지털 시민성, 디지털 사고력, 디지털 콘텐츠 제작 및 플랫폼 활용을 기본 소양으로 하여 디지털 페다고지를 실천하는 역량’으로 정의되었다. 또한, 유아교사의 디지털 하위역량은 ‘디지털 시민성’, ‘디지털 사고력’, ‘디지털 콘텐츠 제작 및 플랫폼 활용’, ‘디지털 페다고지’의 네 개로 도출되었고, 13개의 세부영역과 42개의 행동지표가 도출되었다. 본 연구는 디지털 전환의 미래교육환경을 반영하여 디지털 리터러시의 확장된 개념으로서 디지털 역량의 관점에서 유아교사의 디지털 역량을 탐색하고 하위역량 및 세부영역을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 디지털 기반 교육환경을 이해하고 디지털 기반 교육과정 운영 및 혁신을 위한 유아교사의 역량을 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 연구결과는 유아교사를 위한 디지털 역량 증진 프로그램 개발 및 디지털 역량 지원 체계 등의 연구를 수행하는 데에 기초자료로 사용할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the digital competency of early childhood teachers in preparation for the future society according to social demands upon changes in the roles of early childhood teachers that can lead future education. To this end, extracting of digital competency factors through literature analysis, early childhood teachers and early childhood education expert group focus group interviews (FGI) and Delphi surveys with 20 early childhood education experts were conducted. As a result of the study, the concept of digital competency of early childhood teachers is ‘the competency to practice digital pedagogy with digital citizenship, digital thinking skills, digital content creation and platform utilization necessary for digital education as early childhood teachers as members of a digital society’ defined. In addition, for the digital competency concept of early childhood teachers, four categories, ‘digital citizenship’, ‘digital thinking’, ‘digital content creation and platform utilization’, and ‘digital pedagogy,’ were derived. This study is meaningful in that it empirically derived the concept of digital competency and competency factors of early childhood teachers by exploring the concept of digital competency for early childhood teachers from a holistic and comprehensive perspective on research methods and research subject selection. The results of this study can be used as a basic data for future research on the development of programs to enhance digital competency for early childhood teachers and the digital competency support system.
