국내 음악치료 동향 분석과 개선방안 논의

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 국내 음악치료 학술 연구동향을 분석하고 도출된 결과에 대한 개선방안을 논의하고자 한다. 2012년부터 2021년까지 10년간의 음악치료를 실행하여 연구를 진행한 학술지 190편을 추출하여 본 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 연구범주는 크게 음악치료 분석형태와 분석범위로 분류하였으며, 분석형태는 연구유형, 연구설계, 실행방안, 분석범위는 대상자, 활용요소, 효과의 각 3가지 하위로 구성하여 분석하였다. 이에 대한 분석결과 음악치료는 10년간 활발하고 꾸준하게 연구되었으며, 2018년 기준으로 등재학술지 비율이 비등재지에 비해 94.1%로 월등히 높아졌다. 2012년부터 2018년까지는 사회과학, 예술체육에서 연구가 편중되어 진행되었지만, 2019년부터 2021년에는 복합학부터 인문학, 의약학, 공학에서도 연구가 다양하게 진행되었다. 연구유형에서는 실험집단과 통제집단을 대상으로 한 양적연구방법이 주로 사용되었다. 연구실행방안 관련 분석에서는 10명 이하 대상, 주 1회, 10~15회기, 60분 이하의 프로그램이 큰 비중을 차지했다. 치료 대상자는 성인 대상 연구가 26.8%로 가장 많았으며, 활용요소는 집단을 형성한 악기연주와 노래, 회상이론, 게슈탈트를 주로 활용하였고, 대부분의 경우 정서, 사회성을 개선하는 효과에 대한 결과도출이 이루어졌다. 연구동향 분석결과에 대한 개선방안 논의로서 첫째, 대상자의 각기 다른 개인적 특성에 따라 다양한 연구설계 및 실행방안이 필요하다. 둘째, 고령화 사회에서 요구되는 심화된 맞춤형 노인 재활 음악치료 프로그램을 제공해야 한다. 셋째, 4차 산업혁명의 시대적 패러다임을 반영한 현대인들에게 효과적인 음악치료의 새로운 기법을 개발함과 동시에 예술영역의 기법과 매체에서의 융합적 적용방안에 대한 심도있는 연구가 필요하다. 마지막으로 인간의 인지, 행동, 신체 등에 유의미한 효과를 극대화할 수 있는 지속적이고 다변화된 연구방법의 고도화가 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the trend of academic researches on domestic music therapy, and also to discuss the improvement measures based on the obtained results. As the research subjects, this study extracted and selected total 190 journals that performed the researches by carrying out music therapy for ten years from 2012 to 2021. The research scope was largely classified into analysis form and analysis scope of music therapy. The analysis form was composed of three subareas such as research type, research design, and execution measures while the analysis scope was composed of three subareas such as subjects, utilized elements, and effects. In the results of the analysis, the music therapy had been actively and continuously researched for ten years, and on the basis of 2018, the percentage of registered journals was much more increased(94.1%) than the one of non-registered journals. From 2012 to 2018, the researches were concentrated on social science and arts/physical education. From 2019 to 2021, however, there were diverse researches on interdisciplinary science, humanities, medicine/pharmacy, and engineering. In the research type, the quantitative research method targeting an experimental group and control group was mostly used. In the analysis related to the research execution measures, the biggest percentage was taken up by the programs with ten or less subjects, once a week, 10~15 sessions, and 60 minutes or less. In the subjects of therapy, the researches targeting adults were the most(26.8%). In the utilized elements, they mostly used the Gestalt, the theory of recollection, and instrumental performance & singing in group, and in most cases, there were results of effects on the improvement of emotion and sociality. The improvement measures based on the results of analyzing the research trend could be discussed as follows. First, it would be necessary to have various research designs & execution measures according to the personal characteristics of each different subject. Second, the intensified and customized rehabilitation music therapeutic programs for the elderly should be provided in the aging society. Third, it would be necessary not only to develop the new techniques of music therapy effective for modern people by reflecting the current paradigm of the 4th industrial revolution, but also to conduct such in-depth researches on the convergent application measures for techniques and media in the field of arts. Lastly, it would be required to continuously advance such diversified research methods that could maximize significant effects on human cognition, behavior, and body.
