국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화가정 아버지의 양육스트레스와 거부적 양육태도와의 관계에서 스트레스 대처수준과 사회적 지원의 조절효과가 어떠한가를 분석해보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2015년 1 월 기준(행정자치부) 만 6세 이하 결혼이민자 및 귀화자 자녀 비율이 가장 높은 것으로 보고된K도 소재의 유아교육기관 중 연구참여에 동의한 29개 기관의 다문화가정 아버지 169명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 질문지를 배포하고 자료를 수집하였다. 또한 수집된 자료를 토대로Hayes(2013)의 PROCESS macro를 활용한 조절모형 유의성 검증을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 스트레스에 대한 적극대처수준과 사회적 지원이 특정 수준까지 증가할수록 다문화가정 아버지의 양육스트레스가 거부적 양육태도에 미치는 영향력을 완화하며, 스트레스에 대한 소극대처수준의경우 일정 수준 이상으로부터 높아질수록 다문화가정 아버지의 양육스트레스가 거부적 양육태도를 증가시키는 경향을 더욱 상승시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 자녀양육에 대한 스트레스를효과적으로 관리하려는 다문화가정 아버지의 개인적인 노력과 더불어 그들의 거부적 양육태도를 긍정적으로 변화시킬 수 있도록 돕는 사회적 지원이 강화될 필요가 있음을 논의하였다

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze what moderating effects stress‐coping levels and social support had in the relation between parenting stress of fathers in multicultural families and rejective parenting. For this purpose, this study selected 169 fathers from multicultural families in 29 child education institutions that agreed on research participation. Questionnaires were distributed among these research subjects, and data were collected. The educational institutions were located in K province, which was reported as having the highest population rate of children aged six years or below of marriage immigrants and naturalized citizens as on January 1, 2015 (Ministry of the Interior). From the results of the analysis, it was found that with the increase in the active coping level toward stress and social support to a certain degree, the influential power of parenting stress of fathers in multicultural families on rejective parenting attitudes decreased. Further, as the passive coping level toward stress increased, the tendency of the parenting stress of fathers in multicultural families to effect a rise in rejective parenting increased. Thus, based on the results of this study, it was discussed that it was necessary to reinforce social support to help them change their rejective parenting into positive parenting as well as individual endeavors of fathers in multicultural families to effectively manage stress over child rearing.
