국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 사회적 상호작용능력인 유머능력, 공감능력, 의사소통능력의 세 가지 변인이 유아교사의 행복감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 살펴봄으로써 유아교사의 행복감 증진을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 B시와 K도에 소재한 유아교육기관(유치원, 어린이집)에 근무 중인 유아교사 300명으로 선정하였다. 본 연구에서나타난 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교사의 사회적 상호작용능력과 행복감에 대한인식은 보통 이상의 긍정적인 결과를 보였다. 둘째, 유아교사의 사회적 상호작용능력과 행복감간에는 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 유아교사의 사회적 상호작용능력이 유아교사의 행복감에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 공감능력, 의사소통능력, 순응적 유머의 순으로 높은 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 유아교사의 유머능력, 공감능력과 의사소통능력은 유아교사의 행복감을 예측하는 주요변인이라고 할 수 있으며, 유아교사가 더 많은공감능력과 의사소통능력, 유머능력을 가질수록 교사의 행복감은 높아진다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the impact of humor skills, empathy skills, and communicative competency of early childhood teachers, which are social interaction skills, on the happiness of the teachers, in an effort to provide some information on how to boost the happiness of early childhood teachers. The three factors were selected as independent variables, and the subjects in this study were 300 selected early childhood teachers who worked in early childhood education institutions (kindergartens and daycare centers) that were located in an urban community and a province respectively. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the early childhood teachers took an above-average positive view of their own social interaction abilities and happiness. Second, there was a significant positive correlation between their compliant humor and empathy skills, and compliant humor exerted a significant influence on happiness. Moreover, the empathy skills of the early childhood teachers had a significant positive correlation with their happiness, and the former had a significant impact on the latter. Third, as a result of analyzing the relative influence of the social interaction skills of the teachers on their happiness, empathy skills were most influential, followed by communicative competency, and a sense of humor. In conclusion, the humor, empathy skills, and communicative competency of early childhood teachers could be regarded as the major variables for predicting their happiness.
