국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 소명감이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 진로결정 자기효능감의매개효과를 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 3년제 대학의 유아교육과에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 250명으로 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 소명감, 진로결정 자기효능감과삶의 만족도는 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 소명감이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 소명감의 하위변인 중 목적·의미 존재가 삶의 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 소명감이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 진로결정 자기효능감은 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 소명감과 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감의 중요성을 입증하였으며 예비유아교사의 삶의 만족도를 높이기 위해 소명감과 진로결정 자기효능감을 증진시킬 수 있는 지원방안에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of career decision-making self-efficacy on relationship between a sense of calling and life satisfaction of early childhood pre-service teachers. The subject of this study was 250 pre-service teachers in the department of early childhood education at 3-year colleges. The result indicated that all the three variables - career decision-making self-efficacy, a sense of calling, and life satisfaction - are positively correlated. In other words, the higher the levels of a sense of calling and career decision-making self-efficacy that the early childhood pre-service teachers have, the higher is the degree of life satisfaction that they experience. Second, meaning/purpose, a sub-variable of a sense of calling of early childhood pre-service teachers has a significant impact on their life satisfaction. Third, the career decision-making self-efficacy was partly mediating the relationship between a sense of calling and the life satisfaction. This research suggests that to improve or enhance life satisfaction of early childhood pre-service teacher an emphasis should be laid on inculcating a sense of calling and improving the career decision-making self-efficacy.
