유아교사의 유아·놀이 중심 예술교육 실행경험에서의 인식 및 지원 요구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 2019 개정 누리과정에 기반하여 예술교육을 실행한 유아교사의 인식과 그에 따른 지원 요구를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 수도권 소재 국공립 · 사립유치원에 재직 중인 유아교사 7명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 2021년 4월부터 5월까지 개별 심층면담을 실시하였다. 연구결과 유아 · 놀이 중심 예술교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식에서 나타난 긍정적인 변화는 놀이와 예술의 자연스러운 만남, 만들어가는 예술의 즐거움, 놀이 안에서 통합되는 예술로 나타났다. 유아 · 놀이 중심 예술교육에서의 어려움에는 교사의 역량에 따라 운영의 질이 달라지는 놀이 중심 유아예술교육, 놀이 속에서 이끌어내기 어려운 다양한 예술경험, 예술에 흥미가 없는 아이들, 자유로운 예술교육이 일어나기 어려운 환경이 있었다. 또한 2019 개정 누리과정에 기반하여 예술교육을 효과적으로 실천하기 위해 교사의 예술적 역량 증진을 위한 지원, 원활한 소통이 일어나는 교직문화 형성, 놀이 중심에 대한 학부모 인식 개선, 풍부한 환경 마련을 요구하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 2019 개정 누리과정 운영의 내실화를 위한 지원 방안에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the experiences of early childhood teachers who have conducted art education based on the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum as well as their need for support. Seven early childhood teachers working in national and private kindergartens in the metropolitan area were selected as research participants, and individual interviews were conducted from April to May 2021. As a result of the study, positive changes in early childhood teachers practical experience of child and play-centered art education were demonstrated as natural encounters between play and art, the pleasure of art being created, and art being integrated into play. The challenges in child and play-centered art education were play-oriented early childhood art education, which changed the quality of operation according to the teachers competence, various art experiences that are difficult to draw in play, children who are not interested in art, and environments where it is difficult to impart free art education. Furthermore, to effectively implement art education based on the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum, it was necessary to support teachers artistic capacity enhancement, to form a teaching culture where smooth communication occurs, to improve parents awareness of play-oriented activities, and to create a rich environment. Based on these results, a support plan for improving the 2019 revision of the Nuri course operation is discussed.
