국문 초록

본 연구는 2015 개정 종교학 교육과정의 취지와 개신교계 종립학교의 비판 및 요구 사이의 접점을 찾는 작업의 하나로, 최근에 이뤄진 개신교 통일교육 및 종교교육의 연구 중 매우 드물게 2015 개정 종교학 교육과정과 개신교 통일교육 사이의 비판적 (실천) 상관관계 를 시도하고 있다. 보다 구체적으로 먼저 본 연구는 비판적 (실천) 상관관계 에 앞서, 통일과 통일교육의 중요성이 상당한 바, 개신교 통일교육과 공교육이 각각의 특성과 장점을 바탕으로 종교학 교육과정에 대해 통일이란 주제를 중심으로 서로 대화할 가능성과 필요성이 있음을 지적하고 있다. 이어서, 본 연구는 2015 개정 종교학 교육과정이 다종교·다문화 감수성 의 함양, 비판적 성찰 능력 의 증대, 통일의 필요성에 있어서의 보편성, 다른 통일교육과의 대화 가능성으로서의 보편성, 또 학습자의 상황 및 특성을 반영하는 보편성의 확대라는 측면에서개신교 통일교육에 기여할 수 있음을 밝히고 있다. 그런 후에, 역으로 개신교 통일교육의 관점에서 종교학 교육과정의개선을 지향할 때, 향후의 종교학 교육과정은 그 내용에 북한의 종교 를 포함할 것과, 평화와 갈등 해소의 추구를 포함한 종교의 사회적‧공적 역할을 보다 구체적으로 서술할 것, 그리고 환대, 돌봄, 평화 지향의 세계 시민 과 같은 종교와관련된 통합역량 을 추가할 것을 제안하고 있다.

영문 초록

Different from recent researches in the field of Christian unification education and religious education, this paper conducts the ‘critical (praxis) correlation’ work between ‘2015 Revised Curriculum for Religious Studies’ and Christian unification education as one of the efforts to find some points of agreement to bridge the gap between the purpose of ‘2015 Revised Curriculum for Religious Studies’ and Christian schools’ complaints and suggestions. More specifically, prior to the critical (praxis) correlational discussion, this article indicates that both Christian unification education and public education have a clear possibility and necessity of entering into dialogue with each other about ‘Curriculum for Religious Studies,’ based on each other’s qualities and strengths by taking ‘unification’ as a common ground because both unification and unification education are remarkably important in Korea. Then, inspired by ‘Curriculum for Religious Studies,’ this study proposes some ways of transforming Christian unification education; nurturing ‘multireligious and multicultural sensitivity,’ enhancing ‘critical reflection’ as a competency, and expanding its universal features by reaching agreement on the need for unification, improving opportunities for dialogue with other unification educations, and considering participants’ contexts and characteristics. This paper also provides, conversely, some suggestions for the revision in ‘Curriculum for Religious Studies’ in the future as its transformation, from Christian unification perspectives. In detail, the upcoming Curriculum should include ‘religions in North Korea’ as a part of its contents, describe more concretely religions’ social and public roles including peacebuilding and conflict resolution, and add some ‘integrated competencies’ to its existing competencies as follows: hospitality, care, and ‘peace-oriented global citizenship.’
