국문 초록

본 연구는 ETC를 기반으로 한 집단예술치료가 경증치매노인의 창조적 연결성 향상에 효과가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 U시 A구에 소재하는 B노인주간보호센터를 이용 중인 65세 이상 경증치매노인 중 집단예술치료를 받아본 적이 없는 총 16명을 선정하여 무선 배치하였다. 연구 기간은 2019년 09월부터 2020년 02월까지이며 사전검사와 사후검사를 제외한 총 20회기 프로그램을 실험집단에 주 1회 70분씩 실시하였다. 연구 도구로는 창조적 연결성 척도 검사를 사용하였고, 연구 결과의 양적 분석은 SPSS 24.0의 윌콕슨 부호 순위 검증(Wilcoxon signed-ranks test)으로 하였으며, 질적 분석은 ETC 구조를 사용하는 미술에 기초한 평가 요인 및 창조적 연결성 구성요인을 기반으로 나타난 경증치매노인들의 변화 과정을 중심으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, ETC를 기반으로 한 집단예술치료는 실험집단에 한 해 창조적 연결성 변화에 통계적으로 유의미한 효과를 보였다. 둘째, ETC를 기반으로 한 집단예술치료 회기별 진행 과정에서 실험집단은 신체적 알아차림을 통해 창조적 연결성을 강화하고 확대하면서 타인과 영적 수준으로의 상호적이고 통합된 경험을 할 수 있게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 통해 ETC를 기반으로 한 집단예술치료가 경증치매노인의 창조적 연결성 향상에 긍정적 효과가 있음이 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate how ETC-based group art therapy on affects the creative connection of elderly individuals with mild dementia. The subjects included a total of 16 senior citizens aged 65 or older at B daycare center for the elderly in A-gu, U city. All subjects had mild dementia, had never previously received group art therapy, and gave content themselves or via their families to participate in the study. The subjects were divided equally into the experimental and control groups, so each group had eight subjects. The research period spanned from September 2019 to February 2020. After excluding pre-and post-tests, the investigator administered a total of 20 sessions to the experiment group via one 70-minute session per week. Employed in the study was the creative link inventory. Additionally, the experiment results were quantitatively analyzed with the SPSS 24.0 program for Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The qualitative analysis focused on the changing process among elderly individuals with mild dementia based on the evaluation factors of art using the ETC structure and the components of creative links. The findings were as follows: First, the ETC-based group art therapy had statistically significant effects on creative link changes in the experiment group; Second, the experimental group reinforced and expanded their creative links and had reciprocal and integrated experiences with others on a spiritual level through physical self-awareness as the sessions of the ETC-based group art therapy proceeded. These findings demonstrate that ETC-based group art therapy can improve the creative links of elderly individuals with mild dementia. Based on these results, the implications and limitations of this study are discussed.
