국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중년 기혼 여성의 향유신념과 삶의 의미와의 관계에서 긍정적 정서조절의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국의 40세 이상 60세 이하의 기혼 여성 445명을 대상으로 온라인을 통한 설문을 시행하였으며, 수집된 모든 자료는 SPSS 24.0과 Mplus 7.0을 사용하여 분석하고 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과로는 첫째, 향유신념과 긍정적 정서조절, 긍정적 정서조절과 삶의 의미, 그리고 향유신념과 삶의 의미는 서로 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 향유신념과 삶의 의미의 관계에서 긍정적 정서조절의 영향을 알아보기 위해 부분 매개모형과 완전 매개모형을 설정하여 비교한 결과 부분 매개모형이 더 적합함을 확인하였다. 이는 향유신념이 삶의 의미에 직접적인 영향을 미치기도 하지만 긍정적 정서조절을 통해 중년 기혼 여성의 삶의 의미에 영향을 더 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구는 중년 기혼 여성의 삶의 의미를 증진하기 위해 향유신념과 긍정적 정서조절을 고려한 효과적인 상담 개입의 필요성을 제시했다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of positive emotional control in relation to the savoring beliefs of middle-aged married women and the meaning of life. To this end, a survey was conducted on 445 married women between 40 and 60 years of age across South Korea, and all data collected were analyzed and verified by using SPSS 24.0 and Mplus 7.0. As a result of the study, first, it was shown that savoring beliefs had a significant bearing on positive emotional control and the meaning of life. Second, the partial mediated model and the complete mediated model were compared to find out the effect of positive emotional control in the relationship between savoring beliefs and the meaning of life. This study confirmed that savoring beliefs affect the meaning of middle-aged married women s lives by means of positive emotional control. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it provides data for effective counseling through understanding the concept of savoring belief and positive emotional control in order to enhance the meaning of life of middle-aged married women.
