국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 친족 성폭력 피해를 겪은 성인 여성의 외상 경험을 살펴봄으로써 이들의 경험이 갖는 의미를 이해하는 한편, 외상의 상처를 극복하고자 노력해 가는 외상 후 성장 과정을 하나의 개념적 틀로 구축하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 친족 성폭력 피해를 겪은 성인 여성 10명을 연구 참여자로 선정하고, 반 구조화된 질문지를 사용하여 개별 면담을 진행하였다. 녹음된 면담내용은 전사하여 근거이론 방법에 따라 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 먼저 총 137개의 개념, 33개의 하위범주, 그리고 9개의 범주가 도출되었다. 패러다임 모형에서 핵심 범주는 ‘가족이 주었던 상처 속에서 철저히 혼자인 외로움의 연속이었지만 지울 수 없는 그 상처 속에서 마음을 돌보며 현재를 기꺼이 살아가기’로 나타났다. 외상 후 성장과정 이론모형은 사건 발생, 대응 불가, 자책, 도망, 직면, 성장의 과정으로 구성되었다. 이상의 내용을 종합하여 이론적 함의와 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the trauma experiences of adult women who suffered from intrafamilial sexual violence and to build a conceptual frame on the process of post-traumatic growth after experiencing the trauma. For this, 10 participants were recruited, and interviews were conducted individually from 1.5 to 4.7 hours using semi-structured questionnaires. All recorded interviews were transcribed and analyzed by the grounded theory method. As a result, 137 concepts, 33 subcategories, and 9 categories were derived. According to the results of paradigm model, the core category was ’Being willing to live the present while caring for the mind despite the thorough loneliness in the wounds afflicted by the family. The theoretical model of post-traumatic growth appeared as the process of occurrence, inability to respond, self-criticism, escape, confrontation, and growth. This can be summarized as a process of striving to survive one s own life by repeating despair and growth in a spiral. The results of this study were discussed.
