분리개별화와 관계중독의 관계에서 정서조절과 자기수용의 이중매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 관계중독에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하여 개입 방안에 대한 기초를 마련하고자, 분리개별화와 관계중독의 관계에서 정서조절과 자기수용이 이중매개효과를 가지는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 20세 이상 성인 남녀 448명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 구조방정식을 통한 매개모형 검증을 실시하고, 성별과 결혼 여부에 따른 다집단분석을 추가하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 분리개별화는 정서조절과 자기수용에, 정서조절은 자기수용에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 분리개별화와 자기수용은 관계중독에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 매개모형 검증 결과, 분리개별화와 관계중독의 관계에서 자기수용의 부분매개효과가 유의하였고, 분리개별화와 관계중독의 관계에서 정서조절과 자기수용에 의한 이중매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 다집단 동등성 검증 결과, 본 연구의 최종모형은 성차와 결혼 여부에 상관없이 동일하게 적용될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 성인의 분리개별화가 자기수용을 높여 관계중독 수준을 유의미하게 감소시킬 뿐만 아니라, 분리개별화는 정서조절 수준을 높임으로써 자기수용을 통해 관계중독적 증상을 감소시킬 수 있음을 의미한다고 볼 수 있다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 시사점과 제언이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

This study examined the double mediating effects of emotional regulation and self-acceptance in the relation between separation-individuation and relationship addiction. A total of 448 adults, aged between 20 to 50, was recruited. The results were as follows: First, there were significant correlations between separation-individuation, emotional regulation, self-acceptance and relationship addiction. Second, we found that self-acceptance had a partial mediation effect between separation-individuation and relationship addiction. Moreover, emotional regulation and self-acceptance had a dual-mediation effect on the relation between separation-individuation and relationship addiction. Third, multi-group analysis indicated that single persons with a healthy resolution of separation-individuation process enhanced the degree of self-acceptance than married ones. This study confirmed that separation-individuation of adults can not only reduce the level of relationship addiction by increasing self-acceptance but also can reduce symptoms of relationship addition through self-acceptance by increasing the level of emotional regulation. Based on the results, the limitations and implications were discussed.
