국문 초록

본 연구는 여성 암 생존자의 심리사회적 재활 중심 집단미술치료에 대한 현상학적 체험연구로 여성 암 생존자의 심리적 건강을 돌보는 미술치료 개입의 이론적 토대를 마련하고 실천적 방향을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 급성기 치료 후 확장 생존단계에 있는 여성 암 생존자 6인으로, 주 1회, 8회기, 회기당 120분의 구조화된 집단미술치료 프로그램에 참여하였다. 수집된 자료는 활동일지, 연구노트, 집단미술치료 녹취록, 회기별 활동소감문, 미술작품과 참여소감문이며, 자료 분석은 Colaizzi의 현상학적 기술의 방법에 근거하였다. 연구 결과는 암으로 인해 짊어진 상처, 삶의 터닝포인트와 새로운 시작, 마주하며 만나는 나, 암으로 인한 상처의 승화, 희망과 행복감으로 살아가는 지금, 나를 돌보는 힘 발견, 위로받고 힐링 되는 미술치료라는 7개 대주제와 암 생존자로서 주체적 삶을 살아간다는 근본 주제로 도출되었다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서는 심리사회적 재활 중심 집단미술치료가 여성 암 생존자의 기능을 회복시키는 치료적 측면과 더불어 기능을 확대하는 성장의 측면까지 어우르고 있다는 것이 파악되었다. 본 연구는 여성 암 생존자의 심리적 건강을 돌보는 미술치료 개입의 가능성을 확장하고, 여성 암 생존자의 심리사회적 재활을 위한 미술치료 성장모델의 기반을 마련하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to establish a theoretical foundation and seek practical directions for art therapy interventions that take care of the psychological health of female cancer survivors. The research participants were six female cancer survivors in the extended survival stage, who attended eight 120-minute sessions structured group art therapy once a week. The collected data were the progress notes, research notes, pictures, transcripts of the process of group art therapy, impressions of activities by session, and impressions of participation. An analysis of the data was conducted according to Colaizzi s phenomenological method. As a result, the seven major themes that emerged were ‘pain caused by cancer, cancer becoming a turning point and a new beginning in life, finding themselves by facing themselves, transcending pain caused by cancer, immersing in the present filled with hope and happiness, discovering the power to take care of themselves, and comforting and therapeutic art therapy . The fundamental theme was ‘living a subjective life as a cancer survivor . In conclusion, it was found that group art therapy focusing on the psychosocial rehabilitation combines not only the therapeutic aspect but also the aspect of growth. This research was meaningful in that it expands the possibility of art therapy intervention that takes care of the psychological health of female cancer survivors and lays the foundation for an art therapy growth model for psychosocial rehabilitation.
