미술치료 전공 학부생이 슈퍼비전 교과에서 겪는 경험에 대한 해석학적 현상학 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료 전공 학부과정에서 교과목으로 개설된 슈퍼비전을 수강한 수강생의 경험을 중심으로 그 의미와 본질을 알아보고자 Max van Manen의 해석학적 현상학 방법을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 8명이며, 2019년 10월 2일부터 2019년 11월 13일까지 3회의 심층 면담에 의해 자료수집이 이루어졌다. 연구자는 슈퍼비전 교과 경험에 대해 연구 참여자의 미술작품과 함께 수집된 면담 내용을 통해서 참여자들이 드러내는 체험에 집중하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 4가지 실존체(신체성, 공간성, 관계성, 시간성)의 결과를 9개의 하위주제로 도출하였다. 연구의 결과 미술치료 전공 학부생은 슈퍼비전 교과를 통한 경험에서 슈퍼바이저 교수의 지도에 능동적인 자세로 직면할 뿐만 아니라, 개인적인 경험을 공동경험으로 인식할 줄 알았다. 또한, 미술작업을 통한 성공적인 대화 경험을 통해 전문가로서의 길에 동참하고 있다는 성취감을 표명하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 전공 학부생이 슈퍼비전 교과에서 겪는 경험에 대해서 논의를 하고, 이를 근거로 구체적인 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

This study applied Max van Manen s hermeneutic phenomenology method to investigate its meaning and essence, focusing on the experiences of students who took supervision established as a subject in the undergraduate course of art therapy major. There were eight participants in this study, and data were collected through three in-depth interviews from October 2, 2019 to November 13, 2019. The researcher focused on the experiences described by the participants in the interview contents collected along with the works of art of the research participants about the supervision course experience. Based on the collected data, the results of four entities (physicality, spatiality, relationality, and temporality) were derived and divided into nine sub-themes. As a result of the study, undergraduates majoring in art therapy were able to not only respond to the supervisor s guidance in an active manner, but also were able to perceive personal experiences as joint experiences in supervision course. In addition, they expressed a sense of accomplishment in participating as an expert in successful dialogue experiences through art work. Based on these results, we discussed the experiences that undergraduates had when they were paticipating in the supervision course, and made specific suggestions based on this.
