국문 초록

본 연구는 REBT 기반 집단미술치료 프로그램이 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 분노 표현과 부모역할 만족도에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구대상은 D시에 거주하는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 24명을 선정하여 실험집단 12명, 통제집단 12명으로 배치하였다. 집단미술치료는 2018년 6월 5일부터 8월 7일까지 총 10회기를 주 1회씩, 매회기 90분씩 실시되었다. 연구도구는 성인 분노 표현 척도와 부모역할 만족도 척도이다. 자료 분석은 양적 분석과 질적 분석을 실시하였다. 양적 분석을 위하여 반복측정 분산분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 분노 표현에 긍정적인 효과가 있었으며, 그 효과는 지속되었다. 둘째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 부모역할 만족의 하위 영역인 부모-자녀 관계, 부모 역할 갈등에서 유의미한 효과가 있었으나, 그 효과가 지속되지는 않았다. 셋째, 질적 분석 결과, 회기가 진행될수록 참여자의 분노조절 능력이 향상되고, 양육태도와 부모자녀 관계가 개선되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 REBT 기반 집단미술치료 프로그램은 자녀양육과 관련된 긍정적 분노 표현과 부모자녀 관계 개선을 위한 조기중재 프로그램으로 활용할 수 있음을 시사해준다.

영문 초록

This study was to verify the effect of the REBT-based group art therapy program on the expression of anger and the satisfaction in the parental role of mothers with young children. For the study, 24 mothers with young children residing in D city were selected, and 12 were assigned in the experimental group and 12 to the control group. Group art therapy was conducted once a week for a total of 10 sessions for 90 minutes each session from June 5 to August 7, 2018. The assessment tools used were the anger expression scale for adults and the parenting satisfaction scale. To analyze the data, both quantitative and qualitative analyses were carried out. For quantitative analysis, a repeated measures ANOVA was conducted. The results of this study were as follows: First, REBT-based group art therapy had a significant effect on anger release, anger suppression, and anger management. Second, REBT-based group art therapy had a significant effect on the parent-child relationship and parental role conflict among sub-factors of parenting satisfaction, but the effect did not persist. Third, the results of the qualitative analysis also indicated that participants came to control their anger in a desirable way and change their parenting style of participants and the parent-child relationship as art therapy progressed. Therefore, the study has presented that an REBT-based group art therapy program can be used as an early intervention program to prevent anger problems related to child rearing.
