국문 초록

본 연구에서는 다문화 교육의 이론적 탐색과 2007년 개정된 초등학교 미술 교육과정에 반영된 다문화 교육을 분석하여 초등학교 미술 교육과정에 다문화 교육을 효과적으로 적용하는데 목적이 있다. 2007년 개정된 초등학교 교육과정은 성격, 목표, 내용, 교수·학습, 평가로 구성되어 있다. 그러므로 다문화 교육이 반영되었다면 계획적으로 반영되어야 한다. 하지만 교육과정의 성격과 목표, 내용 체계에서 다문화 교육에 관련된 사항을 찾아 볼 수 없다. 다만 교수·학습 방법에서 한 문장으로만 진술되고 있다. 이것은 다른 교과에 비해 수준과 범위가 미흡한 상황이고 다소 무계획적인 면이 있다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 초등학교 미술 교육과정에 다문화 교육을 적용할 수 있는 방향과 반영되어야 할 요소를 제시하고자 한다. 초등학교 미술 교육과정에 다문화 교육을 적용할 수 있는 방향은 3가지가 있다. 첫째는 교육과정과 교수·학습이 추구하는 다문화 목적을 설정하였다. 둘째는 다문화 교육을 위한 교수학습 지원 체제를 구축했다. 셋째는 다문화 교육을 위한 교육과정과 교수·학습과의 관계를 명료화했다. 다음으로 초등학교 미술 교육과정에 다문화 교육을 적용할 수 있는 요소를 목표, 내용, 교수·학습 별로 제시하였다. 그래서 목표에는 추구해야 선정한 항목을 선정하고, 내용 체제에서는 경험을 조직하며, 그 다음 교수학습에서는 조직된 경험에 적합한 교수방법을 사용하도록 하였다.

영문 초록
