영상 제작을 통한 미술교과 기반 인성교육의 실천적 이해

국문 초록

‘삶’과 연계된 인성교육을 위해, 전 교과영역에 걸쳐 교과 내용에 인성교육의 요소를반영하려는 시도가 있어왔다. 최근 미술교육 분야에서도 인성교육의 측면에서 미술교과의 역할을 고민하는 다양한 주제들이 연구되었다. 본 논문은 인성교육을 둘러싼 논의에 대한 선행연구를 통해 인성교육의 개념 및 의미를 심도 있게 고찰하고, 이에 기반 하여 인성교육의 측면에서 진행된 영상제작 수업의 사례를 소개하려한다. 문헌연구를 통해 인성교육의 일반적 요소와 원리를 고찰하고, 미술교과만의 특수한 인성교육의요소를 종합적으로 검토하여, 본 논문에서는 미술을 통한 인성교육의 목표, 내용, 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 인성교육의 측면에서 표현의 주제와 내용을 선정하고, 이에 적합한 목표와 방법을 구성하여 실행한 영상수업의 학습결과물을 인성교육의 관점에서반성적으로 고찰하고, 시사점을 논의하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Character education permeates all subjects in order to cultivate the virtuesof character and to develop common morality. Many research shows that arteducation should aid students in knowing, feeling, acting the good. Arteducation should enable students to become good persons and citizens, andto lead good lives. Based on relative literature, this study shows what character education is,how it should be taught, and what elements and principles are significant inthe field of character education. This study also articulates how charactereducation is implemented in art education in terms of objectives, contents,and methods. Furthermore, this research implemented character education in amovie-making class. This program consists with three different projects suchas “I”, “Relationship”, and “Socio-Culture”. This program is designed toconstruct core virtues from personal understanding to social awareness. Theresults presented here, though modest, are very hopeful. Students arecommitted and determined to develop their ideas coherently. They displaytheir belief, self-understanding, empathy, attitude, caring in their ownmovies. The process of being educated in virtue through movie-makingprocess is meaningful yet to be improved.
