미술 교과와 연계한 초등 교사 도예 직무연수 프로그램 개발 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등교사의 미술 전문성의 중요성에 대한 인식을 기점으로 이에 대한 해결 방안 모색을 위해 시작하였다. 교사의 전문성은 교사 연수를 통하여 길러질 수 있으나 그 중요성에 비하여 직무 연수의 기회가 충분하지 않기 때문에, 현 시점으로는 교사들에게 필요한 직무연수 프로그램의 개발을 통해 교사들에게 다양하고 질 높은 연수를 체계적이고 지속적으로 제공하는 것이 가장 시급한 사항이다. 이를 위해서는 현행 미술 교육 과정 및 교과서의 도예 교육 내용을 교수·학습할 수 있는 내용이 보강되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 선행 연구를 통하여 도예 직무연수 교육 내용을 구조화하였고, 현재 사용하고 있는 미술 교과서 분석을 통해 분야별 직무연수 프로그램 내용을 도출하였다. 보다 심도 있고 다각적인 교과서 분석으로 직무연수 교육 내용을 도출하기 위하여 현직 교사 10명이 함께 참여하였으며, 도출한 직무연수 내용은 교육과정 전문가, 도예가, 현직 교사 등에게 델파이기법으로 검증 하였다. 연구 결과 도예 직무연수 프로그램은 기초과정과 심화 과정으로 구성되었으며 기초 과정 내용은 ‘생활 도예1’ ‘조형 도예1’, ‘도예 전통 문양 1’ 이고, 심화 과정 내용은 ‘생활 도예2’ ‘조형 도예2’, ‘도예 전통 문양 2’이다. 도예 직무연수는 초등 교육 예체능 실기 분야에서 전통 공예의 맥을 잇는 중요 분야이다. 뿐만 아니라, 복합적이고 능동적인 학습 활동을 제공할 수 있는 도예 특유의 성격을 고려할 때, 보다 체계적인 직무연수를 통해 학교 현장 교육과 더욱 활발하게 연계될 것을 기대할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 프로그램을 활용한 도예 직무연수로 교사들의 미술 실기 능력이 향상되기를 바라며, 더 나아가 도예 직무연수 체계화에 기여하게 되기를 바란다.

영문 초록

The needs for professionalism of elementary school teachers in arts education is essential motivation of this research to develop a method to improve the professionalism. Teachers in-service trainings are the key to help teachers achieve their professionalism. Because there lacks chances to get enough in-service trainings, it is urgent to provide systematic supplementary in-service training opportunities that is sustainable and of high quality. Ceramic arts in-service trainings take a significant place in elementary school teachers’ arts and physical in-service trainings because ceramic arts success traditional craft arts. Furthermore, as ceramic arts provide comprehensive and active educational activities to students, ceramic arts education will better engage with on-site teaching if more systematic in-service trainings are provided. To be more systematic, in-service training programs need supplements that help teachers learn and teach the contents under the existing curricula and textbooks. Thus, in this study, the curriculum for training programs is structuralized based on the literature review, and a separate training program is derived for each field through analyses of the existing arts textbooks. Furthermore, ten in-service teachers participated in analyzing textbooks to make the training program more profound and elaborate. The derived training program is validated by curriculum experts, ceramic artists and in-service teachers through the Delphi method. The resulting ceramic arts in-service training program consists of two fields(base, deepening). The base content are ‘daily ceramic arts 1’, ‘ formative ceramic arts1’, and ‘ traditional ceramic arts pattern 1’ and the deepening content are ‘daily ceramic arts 2’, ‘ ormative ceramic arts 2’, and ‘ traditional ceramic arts pattern 2’. Eeach field has beginner and advanced levels so that teachers can select a course based on their interest and ability. Teachers in-service trainings are very important for connect in traditional fine art. And ceramic art offer a study of activity and comples. So we expect to connect with teachers in-service trainings and school. Finally, the program is sustainable as it comprises six different programs with beginner and advanced levels so that teachers can choose based on their preference. I hope that the program from this study helps to improve teachers’ practical technique abilities, and furthermore contributes to systemization of ceramic arts in-service training programs.
