교과 간 문화 이해에 기초한 도예 교육 방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 교과 간 문화 이해에 기초하여 보다 효과적인 교육 방법을 모색하는 데 중점을 두었다. 교과 간 융합은 현대사회에서의 복잡한 문제를 해결하는 힘을 기르는 원동력이 될 수 있기 때문이다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 사회 교과와 미술교과의 연계를 시도하여 도예 프로그램을 개발하였다. 선행 연구를 통해 문화 이해의 핵심 역량으로 ‘창의력’, ‘정체성 확립’, ‘자존감’, ‘성찰력’, ‘공감, 소통’, ‘포용성’, ‘문제 해결력’을 도출 하였고, 도예 프로그램 구성의 문화 이해 영역을 ‘인간과 공간’, ‘인간과 시간’, ‘인간과 사회’로 분류 하였으며, 사회 교과서 분석을 통하여 도출한 문화 관련 내용과 그에 따른 도예주제를 프로그램 구성에 맞게 배치한 다음 이를 다시 학습자의 수준에 맞춰 3,4학년 군과 5,6학년 군으로 통합 구성하였다. 초등학교 교육은 생에 있어서 의식이 고양되는 시기로 문화 인식을 통해 문화의 흐름과 역사적 배경을 인지하고, 문화 교류로 생기는 문제점에 대한 통찰력 및 융합적 사고력과 자기 주도적 문제 해결력을 배양하여 문화 역량을 갖추는 것이 그어느 때보다 중요하다. 본 연구로 개발된 도예프로그램으로 실기를 통한 문화 이해 교육의 활성화를 꾀하고, 도예 활동이미술 수업 내에 그치지 않고 보다 폭넓게 활용 가능함을 제안 하였다는 데 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

This study focuses on finding an effective educational methods based on interdisciplinary cultural understanding. Interdisciplinary integration is the source of energy to solve complicated social issues in modern society. Thus, a ceramic art program is developed by combining elementary school social studies and art education. Following the previous research, essential abilities to understand culture are derived to be creativity , self-identification , self-esteem , self-examination , sympathy , communication , comprehension , and problem-fixing capability , and the cultural understanding section of the ceramic art training program is categorized into humanity and space , humanity and time , and humanity and society. Based on the cultural contents derived from social studies class textbooks analysis, the ceramic training programs are designed for the 3-4th year classes and 5-6 year classes. Elementary education is a crucial stage in life where individuals develop their characteristics, and it is important to provide comprehensive and interdisciplinary insights so that they can develop comprehensive cultural competence. The significance of this paper is that the proposed ceramic art training program seeks to activate cultural understanding through field activities and shows its potential in broader applications beyond art classes.
