고령자의 삶의 만족도 연구결과에 따른 교육의 방향 탐색 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 고령자의 사회관계, 부부관계, 비동거 자녀와의 교류 관계가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 분석하여 고령자의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위한 교육의 방향 및 활성화 방안을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구의 자료는 한국고용정보원의 제 6차 고령화(2016 년)패널을 활용하였고, 현재 혼인 관계를 유지하고 있으며 비동거 자녀가 1명 이상 있는 남녀를 대상으로 하였다. 데이터 분석은 사회인구통계학적 변수의 연령, 교육 수준, 경제활동유무, 주관적 건강만족도 등을 통제하고 사회관계, 부부관계, 비동거 자녀와의 교류 관계에대해 남성과 여성을 구분하여 위계적 회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 부부관계가 남녀의 삶의 만족도에 공통적으로 영향을 주었으며, 남녀 모두에게 가장 중요한 변수로 작용하였다. 그러나 사회관계의 친한 사람 만남 빈도 변인은 여성에게만 유의미하였고, 남성에게는 유의미하지 않았다. 비동거 자녀와의 교류 관계에서 근접성, 만남 빈도, 연락빈도, 정기적·비정기적 금전 지원 여부, 정기적·비정기적 금전 수령 여부 등은 남녀 모두의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이를 바탕으로 현재 이루어지고 있는 고령자 교육의 현황을파악하여 고령자의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위한 교육의 주제 및 시행기관에 대한 보완점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study is intended to present the direction and vitalization plan of education for the improvement of elderly satisfaction by comprehensively analyzing the effects of social relations, marital relations and exchange relationship with non-cohabiting children on life satisfaction. The data from this study were based on the 6th aging (2016) panel of the Korea Employment Information Service and on males and females who currently maintain marital status and have one or more non-cooperative children. The data analysis controlled the age, education level, economic activity status, subjective health satisfaction, etc. of the socio-population statistical variables, and the hierarchical regression analysis was conducted by separating males and females into social relationships, marital relationships and exchange relationships with non-cohabiting children. According to the study, the relationship between husband and wife had a common influence on the satisfaction of males and females lives, and served as the most important variable for both males and females. However, the frequency of social contacts was significant only for females and not for males. The proximity, frequency of meetings, frequency of contact, whether to provide regular or non-regular money, and whether to receive regular or non-regular money did not affect the satisfaction of both males and females lives. Based on this, the current status of education for the elderly was identified and the subjects of education and supplementary points were presented to the implementation agencies to improve the satisfaction level of life for the elderly.
