지적장애학생을 위한 수학교과교육 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 지적장애학생을 대상으로 실시된 수학교과교육 관련 국내 연구의 최근 동향을 파악하고 향후 연구 방향을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 목적 달성을 위하여 2010년부터 2020년까지 최근 10년동안 KCI 등재(후보)지에 발표된 논문들을 수집하고 선정기준과 제외기준에 맞춰 분석대상 논문을 선정하였다. 최종 선정된 45편의 논문들을 대상으로 일반적인 경향(논문발행년도 및 학술지, 연구대상, 연구방법), 연구주제, 수학교과내용 및 수학교과역량에 따른 동향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지적장애학생 관련 수학교과교육 연구는 2010년 이후 매해 2~8편 사이로 꾸준히 이뤄졌고, 2014년에 8편으로 가장 많이 수행되었다. 특수교육 관련 학술지에서 약 37편(82.2%)이 발행되었으며, 특수교육교과교육연구가 8편으로 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 연구대상은 학생(31편, 68.8%)과 교사와 문헌 대상(7편, 15.6%) 연구 순으로 나타났고, 학교급 및 배경 분석결과, 초등학교(18편)에서 가장 많이 이뤄졌으며, 특수학교와 특수학급은 각 15편으로 차이를 보이지 않았다. 연구방법은 중재연구가 27편(60%)으로 가장 많이 이뤄진 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구주제별 분석결과, 수업설계 및 적용 연구(25편, 55.6%)가 가장 많이 이뤄졌는데, 이는 중재 연구가 가장 많이 이뤄진 것과 연관이 있다고 보았다. 셋째, 수학교과내용으로는 수와 연산(23편, 49%)이, 수학교과역량으로는 문제해결(20편, 27%)이 가장 많이 다뤄진 것으로 분석되었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과에 근거하여 지적장애학생을 위한 수학교과교육 관련 연구 동향 분석결과의 시사점과 향후 연구 방향을 추가로 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to grasp the recent trends of domestic research related to mathematics education for students with intellectual disabilities and to seek future research directions. For the purpose of this study, papers published in KCI-listed papers for the last 10 years from 2010 to 2020 were collected, and the papers to be analyzed were selected according to the selection criteria and exclusion criteria. For the final selected 43 papers, general trends (thesis publication year and journal, research subject, research method), research subject, mathematics subject content, and trends according to mathematics subject competency were analyzed. The analysis results are as follows. First, research on mathematics education related to students with intellectual disabilities has been steadily conducted between 2 and 8 papers every year since 2010, and about 35 articles (81%) have been published in academic journals related to special education. The most research subjects were students(28 papers, 65%) and teachers(8 papers, 19%), and as a result of school-level and background analysis, the most were conducted in elementary schools (16 papers), and special education schools and special education classes(15 & 14 papers). As for the research method, the most frequent intervention studies were 23 papers(53%). Second, as a result of analysis by research subject, the most research on instruction design and application (16 papers, 50%) was conducted. This was considered to be related to the most frequent intervention studies. Third, it was analyzed that number and operation (23 papers, 53%) were dealt with as the content of mathematics curriculum, and problem solving (18 papers, 40%) as the mathematics subject competence. Based on the results of this study, the implications of the results of the analysis of research trends related to mathematics education for students with intellectual disabilities and future research directions were additionally presented.
