국내 웹 접근성 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애(인), 특수교육, 재활, 복지 관련 웹 접근성 연구 동향을 살펴보고, 향후 연구 방향에 관한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2010년부터 2020년까지 한국연구재단 등재 또는 등재후보 학술지 32개에서 총 38편의 논문을 선정하여 분석하였다. 연구 주제, 연구 유형, 연구 대상, 그리고 연구 도구로 나누어 분석한 결과, 연구 주제는 웹 접근성 준수 실태 파악에 관한 연구가 여전히 활발하게 수행되고 있었으며, 법, 제도의 개선 방안에 관한 연구도 꾸준히 진행되고 있었다. 연구 유형은 조사연구와 문헌연구에 집중되어 있었고, 질적 연구와 실험연구는 거의 이루어지지 않아 다양한 연구 방법적 접근이 필요하였다. 연구 대상의 분석 결과, 웹 사이트를 대상으로 한 연구가 많았지만 그 밖에 장애인과 전문가, 문헌 등 연구 대상이 다양하였다. 연구 도구는 자동과 수동평가 도구를 병행한 논문이 가장 많았지만 여전히 자동평가 도구만을 사용하여 웹 접근성 준수 실태를 파악하는 연구 시도가 이루어지고 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 향후 장애와 관련된 웹 접근성 연구의 나아갈 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate research trends on the web-accessibility of people with disabilities in Korea and to suggest implications for future research directions. To do this, a total of 38 papers were selected from 32 journals listed by the Korea Research Foundation from 2010 to 2020. The results of this study are as follows. First, research topics are still actively researched to understand the status of web-accessibility compliance. In addition, research on ways to improve the legal system has been ongoing. As a result of the research type analysis, there were many research studies and literature studies. Qualitative and experimental studies are rarely done, and need to be improved. Results of analysis on research subjects, although there have been many studies on the web site, research subjects such as the disabled, experts, and literature have varied. As a research tool, there were many papers that used both automatic and manual evaluation tools. However, there were still many papers for evaluating web-accessibility using only automatic evaluation tools. Based on the results of this study, the future direction of web-accessibility research in Korea is presented.
