기본 교육과정 범교과 주제 학습을 위한 발달장애학생 초·중·고 독도교육 교재 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 동북아역사재단이 교육부와 함께 처음으로 발달장애학생의 독도교육을 위해 개발한 초·중·고 독도교재를 분석하는데 있다. 독도교재의 교육 내적 및 외적 구성의 특징을 분석하고, 교재에 담긴 내용 및 활동에 비추어 추구하는 목표의 범주를 인지적 및 정의적 영역 측면에서 분석하였으며, 교수·학습활동에서 강조하고 있는 기능과 적용한 교육방법을 분석하였다. 주요 결과로 첫째, 독도교재의 내적(목표, 내용, 활동) 및 외적(분량, 전개, 자료) 구성 특징은 각 학교급별로 설정하고 있는 목표에 따라 4가지 내용 영역(지리, 자연환경, 역사, 인문환경)을 기초로 40쪽 내외 분량의 단일본 교재로 구성된 활동, 전개 방식, 자료에 있어서 초등과 중등에서 차이점이 나타났다. 둘째, 목표 양상은 모든 학교급에서 인지적(지식과 정보, 기능의 습득) 영역의 비중이 정의적(가치관과 태도, 행동과 참여) 영역에 비해 높았고, 상급학교로 갈수록 인지적 영역의 비중은 감소하고 정의적 영역의 비중은 다소 증가하였으며, 학교급별로 목표 범주의 비중 순위가 달랐다. 셋째, 총 76개의 교수·학습활동은 학생의 이해, 태도 및 인식 기능을 강조하였고, 관찰학습부터 미디어 활용 학습까지 총 13가지의 다양한 교육방법을 적용하고 있었다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 특수교육 현장에서 개발된 교재를 활용한 독도교육 및 범교과 학습의 활성화를 위한 시사점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언, 그리고 본 연구가 지닌 제한점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze Dokdo education books for elementary, middle and high school students with developmental disabilities developed by the Northeast Asian History Foundation together with the Ministry of Education. This study analyzed the characteristics of the internal and external composition of the books and the categories of goals according to the contents and activities contained in the books in terms of cognitive and affective domains, and analyzed the functions emphasized in teaching and learning activities and the applied educational methods. The results are as follows: First, the characteristics of the internal and external composition of the books are based on four content areas (geography, natural environment, history, humanities environment) according to the goals of each school level. As a single book of about 40 pages, there were differences between elementary and secondary books in terms of activities, development flows and materials. Second, for the categories of goals, the proportion of cognitive domains was higher than that of the affective domains at all school levels, and the proportion of cognitive domains decreased and that of affective domains slightly increased as they went to higher school levels. Moreover, the weight ranking of the target goal categories was different for each school level. Third, a total of 76 teaching and learning activities emphasized students understanding, attitudes and cognitive functions, and applied a total of 13 various educational methods from observational learning to media-based learning. In the field of special education, practical implications for cross-curricular learning focusing on Dokdo education and suggestions for future research were discussed with the limitations of this study.
