국문 초록

개인이 지니는 가치체계는 인간행동을 이해하는 중요한 요소이며, 이를 바탕으로 형성된 개성은 개인에게 깊이 내재되어 의사선택에 지속적인 영향을 미친다. 이는 박물관에서의 경험에도 적용되는 것으로, 문화적 경험에 대한 개인의 선택 및 수용태도에 영향을 주어 인식 차이가 발생하게 된다. 그러므로 관람자 연구는 인구통계학적 정보와 같이 객관적인 정보만으로 개인의 성향을 구분 짓고 개념화하는 것에서 나아가 개인의 주관적 특성을 바탕으로 유형화를 시도할 필요가 있다. 더욱이 최근 박물관 관람자의 다양한 요구와 참여 의사가 강조됨에 따라 보다 심층적인 연구가 필요해졌으므로, 관찰자 관점의 분석을 넘어 대중의 주관성에 대한 해석의 필요가 제기되고 있다는 점에서 새로운 시도가 요구된다. 본 논문은 개인에게 영향을 주는 전시 요소들이 복합적으로 작용한다는 점에 초점을 두고 전체론적 시각에서 기대유형을 도출하고 평가지표 개발을 위한 근거자료를 제시하는 데 목표를 두었다. 이에, 세 차례 진행한 사전연구를 바탕으로 진술문의 추가적인 보완 및 연구범위 검토를 통해 완성도 있는 조사 틀을 구축하여 관람자의 전시 기대유형을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 유형을 구성하는 표본들이 특정 인구학적 속성에 집중되지 않다는 점을 확인하였다. 이는 본 연구의 주관성 유형화를 통해 보다 의미 있는 해석이 가능함을 의미한다.

영문 초록

Value system of an individual is a significant factor in understanding human behavior, and the individuality formed from the system is inherent in the individual and has a constant influence on the decision-making. This can also be applied to experience in museum, which affects individual choice and acceptance attitude of the cultural experience, resulting in perception difference. Therefore, a visitor study needs not only to classify and conceptualize an individual s propensity based on objective information such as demographic data but also to attempt to categorize the propensity in accordance with the individual s subjective characteristics. Furthermore, as various needs and willingness to participate of museum visitor have recently been emphasized and more in-depth research has been required, new attempts are required in that there is a need to interpret the subjectivity of the public beyond the analysis of the observer s point of view. This paper aimed to present specific expected types from a holistic perspective, with the focus on the complexity of exhibition factors affecting individual. Thus, based on three prior researches, it was intended to derive the visitor s expected types for the exhibition by establishing a complete investigation framework through further supplementation of the statements and review of the scope of research. The result showed that the samples made up of the types were not concentrated on specific demographic attributes. This meant more meaningful interpretation could be possible through the subjectivity categorization in this study.
