사범대학 교직 교육과정 개선을 위한 근거이론적 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 교직과목 담당 교수자들의 수업경험을 탐색하여 사범대학 교직 교육과정 개선을 위한 과제 도출을 목적으로 한다. 연구자는 총 6명의 교직과목 담당 교수자들을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하고 근거이론방법을 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 교수자들은 교직 수업과 학교현장과의 거리감을 느끼고, 현장감이 떨어지는 수업에 대한 답답함을 경험하며, 예비교사에게 도움이 되는 수업을 고민하고 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 중심현상에 대한 인과적 조건으로는 교직 교육과정 요인, 수업 요인, 교수자 요인으로 도출되었고, 교직 교육과정 개편 및 사범대학 평가, 사범대학의 교육환경, 교원임용체제는 수업에 영향을 미치는 맥락적 조건으로 작용하였다. 중심현상을 증가 또는 감소시키는 중재적 조건으로는 교수자의 역량과 학생들의 태도로 드러났다. 교수자들은 문제를 해결하기 위하여 수업의 현장성 높이기, 교수자의 역량 강화, 학생들의 수업 참여 높이기 전략을 실행하고 있었다. 그 결과 교수자들은 구조적, 개인적 차원의 한계를 느끼지만, 학생들의 긍정적인 수업평가를 통해 자신의 노력에 대한 만족감을 얻고 있었다. 도출된 범주들을 포괄하는 핵심범주는 ‘구조적, 개인적 어려움 속에서 내 수업의 가치 찾아가기’로 드러났으며, 이는 구체적으로 3가지 유형으로 구분되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 교직 수업 및 교직 교육과정 개선을 위한 논의 및 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to explore the experience of the professors in class of the teaching profession course and to propose an improvement to improve the curriculum of teaching profession course. An in-depth interview was conducted on six professors in charge of the teaching profession course and the data were analyzed by the grounded theory. As a result, the professors felt stuffy because of the distance from the school and tried to be helpful to the pre-service teacher. The causal conditions for the central phenomenon were derived from the factors of the teaching curriculum, the factors of the class, and the factors of the professor. The reform of teaching curriculum, evaluation of teaching colleges, educational environment of teaching colleges, and teacher appointment system were derived under the contextual conditions. Meanwhile, the competence of the professor and the attitude of the students were acting as a intervening mediating condition to increase or decrease the central phenomenon. Professors were implementing strategies to enhance the field applicability of classes, strengthen professors capabilities and increase students participation in classes. As a result, professors were feeling the structural and personal limitations of their own efforts, but feeling satisfied with the students positive class evaluations. The key categories covering all categories were derived from Finding the Value of My Classes in Structural and Personal Difficulties, and were specifically identified as three types. Based on these findings, discussions and suggestions were presented to improve the teaching profession course
